Amazon stopped guaranteeing their price for all items except tvs earlier this year. I tried yesterday. It used to be a 7 day price guarantee. If the priced changed within 7 days of the day you placed your order they would issue a refund. I’m so bummed about their policy change!
It is hit or miss. I’ve usually had good luck with price adjustments, but I think mine were within a day or so. However, I read somewhere that adjustments are not their policy so if they do it, it’s a nice little bonus. Can’t hurt to try!
I already returned the gumball set that I paid $15 for at TRU and bought it for $10 at Target. Now it’s $7.99? Ugh.
you should contact their live chat and tell them, it doesn’t hurt to try. I just contacted them regarding the same thing and they credited $5 to my account which was more than the price difference, I bought the item 5 days ago and it’s cheaper today.
