FYI on all KitchenAid Mixers. I bought one from Target over Black Friday weekend. The unit was too heavy and getting the bowl on the stand was very difficult (it was the Professional 5 Series with the lift bowl). Long story short I returned it to Target.
Went online to look at other KitchenAid options and noticed many complaints about 1) the one year warranty and 2) KitchenAid units are now being manufactured by Whirlpool and many units break down after a year, leaving you with a VERY expensive paperweight.
I’ve decided in the meantime to go with a high quality hand mixer by OXO. It’s got great reviews on Amazon & Bed Bath & Beyond (a better price there with the 20% off coupon!!)

thanks for the heads up! maybe a KitchenAid stand mixer with a decent warranty would be ok. a hand mixer won’t work for me due to my arthritis. that’s interesting you say that because Whirlpool used to make decent products… we own a microwave from them that’s like 22 years old, and still going strong.

Not yet. But I’m also in no hurry to alert Sears to this in case it’s a mix up they then try to “fix”. Just gonna wait until the date of estimated shipping has passed and go from there. Still showing processing. Fingers crossed to all of us. Just hope people don’t complain to Sears too much until it’s been an unacceptable wait time.

Good luck with Sears, I wont buy anything from them again online. I tried to last year with in store pick-up and it just said pending for weeks. Finally had to call and cancel my order and get my money back. That they charged right away.
If anyone still wants to buy a kitchen aid despite their 1 year warranty and whirlpool making them. COSTCO has the same one advertised by Best Buy for $199.00 AND its backed by the Costco warranty.
How long is the Costco warranty for? Does it extend the one year?
They cancelled mine. That is my last straw for Sears/Kmart.
Cancelled mine too. Called and tried to speak to a CS rep, but as usual, they were no help. I’ve had nothing but problems everytime I order through kmart & sears. Never again!
