So I’ve shied away from Walgreens because the Register Rewards and Balance Rewards and # of items vs # of coupons just seemed too much for me. I stick to CVS.
But I decided to try tonight with this deal, since it was just coupons. And the cashier very politely informed me they they no longer accept home printed coupons. 😳
So he also very politely cancelled the transaction when I asked him to and gave me the coupons back. I didn’t push since there was a line.
Really, though, this can’t be something the individual stores can dictate, can they? Deciding not to accept printable coupons?
One of the Targets I go to won’t accept printable coupons, either, despite the fact that Target offers them on their website. Management does not seem able to keep up with these various new marketing strategies and the customer suffers as a result.
