Skip the Grocery Store! Home Chef Delivers Fresh Food & Recipes Right to Your Door
Fresh meals delivered to your door? Yes, Please!
Home Chef offers chef-prepared recipes with all the fresh ingredients and step-by-step instructions delivered to your door each week (or the door of a loved one!) so you can skip the grocery store and whip up yummy meals in 30 minutes. You’ll receive everything from the protein like Filet Mignon and veggies like green beans right down to details like smoked Gouda slices, heavy whipping cream, butter and more!
How does it work?
Home Chef packages all of the fresh ingredients with insulated liners & cold packs so they’ll remain cold & fresh until you arrive home. Once your box arrives, just transfer the contents of the box to the refrigerator and your ingredients will remain fresh for that week.
You’ll even have the chance to note your Dietary and Delivery Preferences (including gluten-free, low carb, and vegetarian meals to name a few), how many meals you’d like to cook each week (choose between 2-6 meals) and how many people you’re cooking for (choose between 2-5 people).
Even sweeter, Hip2Save readers can currently head on over here to snag $30 off your first order with the code 30DINE at checkout! Just click on the Get Started button and complete your Profile.
As an idea, you can order TWO yummy meals with TWO servings per meal for only $19.80 delivered after applying the code 30DINE at checkout. That’s just $4.95 per serving delivered right to your doorstep, which is a great price for fresh ingredients and meal plans that are customized to fit your family’s needs!
What’s the Catch?

Skips and edits must be received by Friday at Noon prior to the scheduled delivery day. There is NO commitment, NO Contract and your membership can be cancelled at any time.

I just made my 4th home chef meal tonight and yes, their meals aren’t what I would consider healthy but for someone who can barely scramble eggs – this has been a fun experience and my family is appreciating different things to eat. They’re pretty tasty and easy to cook for a novice like me. Their portions are perfect for me but a little smaller than what my hubby would normally eat so I’ve been augmenting by adding additional chicken etc. I haven’t had any issues with the contents of my boxes but have only had 2 deliveries so far. Super easy to skip weeks too!
I use Home Chef as well as a few others regularly. Home Chef is my favorite for meals with meat. Lots of options and price is great compared to other brands. The recipes are delicious and instructions are easy to follow.
I have had a good experience with Home Chef and the things that have been incorrect in my order, they credited me back for on my account. I love it because I am in nursing school and though I can’t get them every week I like to get a couple a week to help me get my cooking done and prevent me from grabbing fast food all the time when I’m trying to feed my kids and study for nursing exams.
I signed up with Home Chef recently and couldn’t be more pleased with them. I found it to be very economical especially with the startup discount. It was a chance to try out more gourmet options for dinner without leaving home to go to a store or to a restaurant.
We use Home chef and like it! We’ve skipped with no issues when the meals aren’t interesting to us, and any problems with our orders have been handled quickly! The packaging is good, and the food is fresh!
Awesome! Glad to hear that it has worked well for you!
We tried HelloFresh for the first time with week! The meals are healthy and delicious! I got a Groupon that made the first week $19.99 for 6 meals!! (3 meals x 2 people); however, the referral link will give you the same deal! It’s definitely worth trying! https://www.hellofresh.com/?c=LHROMA
Oh cool. Thanks for the feedback Lauren!
I just signed up to try it out. I hope it is good. Is it expensive the next time you order? It is cheap this time around since I had the coupon code but what about the next time? Any thoughts?
I believe the regular price is $59.99. It’s a little high for me, but the food really is good. Just make sure you skip or cancel after you get your first box to avoid the automatic charge. Thanks!!
Does that mean regular price it’s $50 for 2 meals a week for two people, that’s way too much. Maybe good just do the intro deal.
I’ve used hello fresh for awhile. It’s cheaper. And the food is great.
I just signed up for HelloFresh last night and can’t wait to try it next week. I got 3 meals with 2 servings each so 6 meals for $19.94. I deactivated right after I picked my meals so I wouldn’t run into the $60 fee after this coming up week if we don’t like it. Please use my link to receive $40 off to get the same deal I did and I’ll get $20 off, thank you! http://www.hellofresh.com/?c=AFLORA
I used code eat35 for $35 off
I have a few free Home chef boxes that I can email if your interested. cathydesigns@verizon.net
I usually order 2 meals and fruit basket to make it $50 shipped(you don’t pay shipping). Itsni e to get extra food on hand.
Sent the 3 free ones I have, I still have $30 off.
Also if anyone has other companies with referrals, please send them my way (I have already tried Green Chef, Hello Fresh and Blue apron). Thanks. cathydesigns@verizon.net
Cathy which do u like best out of all those services?
Yes, please tell!
Plated is my favorite food delivery service. They have dishes that are a little different than the others and are really tasty. I thought Hello Fresh was good but average recipes.
Ordered twice. Both times my shipments came in FOUR days late. I refused delivery. Very disappointed.
Oh bummer! Sorry to hear they came late! Were you able to contact them about it?
I just signed up for my second delivery of Home Chef! I love it! A chance to fix gourmet meals without visiting the grocery store. And we can enjoy them in the laid back comfort of home. No restaurant needed. I highly recommend. If you do try them, I would be very grateful if you used my link! Thanks! https://www.homechef.com/invite/0LY67h78AnNr
I have tried several of the home meal delivery companies. I love Home Chef, Hello Fresh and currently trying Blue Apron. So far with Home Chef and with Hello Fresh, if there has ever been a problem, they quickly give you credit for any problem. I tried Plated but felt that one was too much work (IMO). I do have $40 off your first order for Hello Fresh – I have 6 of them, first 6 to use them, get them . http://www.hellofresh.com/?c=SHEVANC&utm_source=raf-share&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=clipboard — Just copy and paste.
For Home chef I have $30 off $30 — https://www.homechef.com/invite/kEkeKfbok16Q . Let me know if you use either so I can remove once the limit is reached. Enjoy!!
I’ve tried Hellofresh and Blue Apron so far. I really enjoy both companys meals so I typically switch between the two on a weekly basis to get a good variety of meals and cooking methods.
