Is there a code, I added my location to my cart and its $35
Same here
Hi Jen! The promo code is HIP2SAVE.
Thank you Angela for code. $10 is a great deal for these books!
I am having trouble too. I see the code for 30% off. But I can’t seem to get it to $10.
Hi there! Enter promo code HIP2SAVE and your total should drop to $10.
Have you used this before?? I’m wondering if it’s worth the $10. What kinds of coupons does it have?
Find the one for your area on their site, and then you’ll be able to click on each city/town to see lists of businesses with coupons
Thank you! I have been waiting for the sale around Tax Day when the books go down to $10.40. This is an even better deal. Also, use ebates for 17.5% off!
You’re so welcome!
IS this worth $10??
It really depends on your spending habits. I typically wait till the books are down to $10 to buy because I don’t really find the coupons personally useful to me. I use maybe 2 or 3 out of the entire book, so $10 is my personal threshold point. One year, my husband needed a car part from Napa Auto Parts. I used the 20% off coupon for Napa Auto Parts and saved $14 right there. Another year, I had to get a tire replaced from Merchant’s. I used a coupon and saved $20. If you have children (we don’t) and like to do activities with them, the book may have some coupons for kids’ activities and clothing. If you like to eat out a lot (we don’t), then the book might be a good way for you to save money on dining out.
Hi Mayra! I think is for sure worth $10! There are always great restaurant deals and coupons for local attractions that we use to take our kiddos to do something fun. My book last year had Subway coupons, pizza coupons and others that were really good. Hope that helps!
Yes. Even just using one or two coupons makes it worth it.
The South Carolina book is very dissapointing this year.
Mine has a 10% off $100 or more at kroger. So spend $150 use the 10%. You will more then pay for the book.
How do I get the price to drop to $10??? Shows up as $35.
Hi Barb! Be sure to use code HIP2SAVE. 🙂
Read the post and the comments already made by others. There is a CODE- it’s HIP2SAVE Hope that helps!
Lol the comments always makes me laugh. Slow down people and read the post. The code is in large bold font! Deals make us start to lose our thinking skills 😉
Got mine for $5 with the code and signing up with them and got online access for free. So I figure it has to save me $5 over the year to be worth it. 🙂
Liz, how did you get $5 off ~ did you sign up for Auto Annual Renewal? If so, did you read the fine print? In exchange for you getting $5 off today, you agree to automatically buy the 2018 book AT FULL PRICE (i.e. annual renewal). If you cancel your subscription before receiving the 2018 book, then your credit card will be charged an additional $5, which makes your discount today a wash. Just FYI.
I was going to comment the same thing. That if you went ahead and auto subscribe but then cancel you’re still going to be charged $5 so you’re paying the same amount In the end.
Ebates usually has 50% back.
Have to go to payment before you can add the promo code.
Thank you! My book has gotten “thinner” in recent years but it still worth a small upfront price. IF nothing else, I LOVE to use the $7 off $70 target.com coupon that is available through entertainment.com.
Cool! You’re very welcome Rachel!
Thanks so much! I’ve never had one before and am excited for the savings.
You’re so welcome! Happy you could grab the deal!
I have been looking to buy this book since last fall…cheapest I have seen it has been $17….Thank You!😄
You’re welcome Deb!
got 4 for $20 . Will be gifting.
Thanks Collin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You’re very welcome! 🙂
If you signed up for auto renewal and cancel your subscription you will be charged $5 for each book. Just letting everyone know before you sign up for auto renewal.
That makes them $5 each. How did you get them that low?
Guess I signed up for auto renewal. So If I cancel they will charge me $5 each if I cancel. I hope to get membership benefits to offset.
Yes. You get charged $5 now. When you cancel they will charge you an additional $5 each per book making each book you purchased $10. If you keep the subscription its an automatic charge of $35 per book the next billing cycle.
Thanks I was waiting for a deal!
Perfect! You’re welcome Kim!
Im disappointed in the UT book. I really got it for the 20% off Enterprise coupons (Which i use all yr long) but there isnt any & when you call in its only 5% off. Better than nothing i know.. oh well.
What kind of coupons do they offer?? some examples?? I am on the fence about buying.
Lots! They have zoo coupons, restaurant coupons, bowling…it really depends on your area. For $10 it will pay for itself. If you have kids, and like to go do stuff, it would pay for itself at the $30.
Thanks Collin! I have been waiting for the price of these books to go to $10!! YIPPEE!
I bought one for my home state and second one for our vacation next month out of state.
$10 is a good price for either book even if we only use a few coupons. Most of time, I get my money’s worth.
Thanks for the HIP2Save code!
Awesome to hear that Nancy! Super glad you could score the savings! You’re SO welcome! 😉
Nice! I love this deal. It always has a ton of useful coupons from my area in it and I easily make back the $10 by using just 1 or 2 of them. I bought one for myself and one for my sister-in-law who is transferring to a new city this year. Will be nice for her to save a little $$ as she tries out new restaurants and activities in her new community. Thank you!!
Just bought these books at $10 plus used Ebates and saved 17.5% making the books $8.25. Must use all caps onHIP2SAVE discount. Try it again because I just did it
I just ordered one at 2:51 EST and didn’t need a code for the discount =) I used ebates, too! Thank you!
Same here, clicked on the pop-up to get the book for $10 and also went through ebates, good deal!
You’re very welcome!
The only book in my Area is called Savearound entertainment book for $25. Too bad even though it does have some good grocery coupons in it. I checked the Entertainment books on the above posting and cant use them here.
We love these books for the movie coupons alone. My hubby is a movie buff and goes to the movies every other week, so it’s a great deal if you like going to the movies.
Got one for my parent in DE there was a Pink sale ad pop up for $10 I ddint have to use any code
Anyone know what the Meijer coupons are for? Wondering if it’s worth me buying one just for that!
So if I buy a book for $10, am I or am I not signing up for a membership? I’d consider a one time cost of $10, but I absolutely don’t want a recurring charge. I’ve read comments about these entertainment books on hip2save before and I’m still confused about what my $10 is committing me to. Thanks 4 any clarification!
The deal above is a one time purchase. Hope this helps!
Thank you! I appreciate your response.
You’re welcome! 😉
Thank, Collin! Question for those that know: when you print an online deal, does that make the expiration date closer? Would it be better to wait to print them closer to when I’ll use the online deals?
When I have printed coupons the expiration date is 14 days after the print date so it is best to wait until you are planning to use the coupon. I hate this because it always turns out I print the coupon and then don’t have time to use it before it expires or I’m near the place and want to use the offer but I don’t have the printed coupon! I wish they gave at least a month before expiring the printed coupons so I could print them ahead and carry them in my purse with me.
Gotcha, thanks for the info! Yea, that would be nice if they gave a little more time
It is a great deal at $10 shipped. I love looking through it for new ideas on places to eat. I also trade coupons on Craigslist ( do it on the honor system via US mail) for places I would go to anyway. Around the November time frame, I put it on the “free table” at work. I have exhausted the book by then anyway. It might give someone else a chance to use it.
They are having a flash sale, does that mean I don’t need promo code?
FYI, Ebates has 17.5% back on these too.
