   My Target in West Philadelphia had some water damage and they are remodeling. On Sunday when we went they said ALL clearance except for baby was an additional 50% off. I couldn’t believe it but it was really true. Almost finished Christmas shopping for my kids for $100!

  They said it was Sunday only. But might be worth a call. We got a Peppa Pig camper, Barbie hairstyling head, Lego Friends stuff, barbies, infant toys, board games. We kinda just went aisle to aisle looking for toy clearance.

   We got the Shopkins game with the shopping carts – THE most boring and inane board game ever! We pretend to forget about it when it’s time to pick a board game.
   If you are not gift shopping, Goodwill is an excellent source of board games (or another donation-based store).

   I scanned a lot of the toys with my amazon app to see how the prices compared and the deals weren’t great at my store. Some prices were still higher than Amazon despite being on clearance. I did see some Peacable Kingdom board games on clearance like Hoot Owl Hoot and Race to the Treasure. We love those games!

  On the Amazon app, there is a little camera icon at the top. If you tap that, it let’s you scan items so you can check prices and whatnot.

    Be careful of the Target toys clearance prices! I bought the Fisher Price Little People dump truck, regularly priced $14.99, on 15% clearance for $12.74 and thought I was getting a good deal. When I got home I checked the price on Target.com and the price was $8.99. I will be returning with my receipt to price match. I will gladly drive back to the store to save $3.75 on a toy!
