I mostly use Purex. It’s the one detergent that is on sale regularly. I think it doed a fine job.
Agreed. As far as performance, it you did some kind of formal study Purex is probably middle of the pack. But it’s regularly available for a reasonable price (my stock up price for detergent is <5¢/load), whereas Tide and Gain rarely dip below 10¢/load even during a great sale.
