If my husband bought one and I bought one, can they be combined at checkout?

    • Christy

It’s a gift card, so you should be able to use as many as you want.

Has anyone had luck purchasing a digital gift card from Lowe’s and been able to transfer onto plastic gift cards in store? I bought the $100 gc through PayPal with the intent of giving $25 gift cards, but when I tried in store to purchase gift cards with a gift card, they wouldn’t allow it. I am curious why that is and if there is some way around it.

We made the awful mistake of ordering e-gift cards one time, for ourselves. The cashiers have to manually enter the number each time we visited the store. We simply wanted to transfer our e-gift card to a physical card so we could just scan it in the future, and customer service would not even allow that. 🙁 I think it took us about 20 visits to use up those gift cards…

      • Michelle

You could always buy something for just over the e-card amount, return it and get a physical merchandise credit. Never tried it but seems like that should work.

Just a warning, with Lowe’s, the physical merchandise credit are only valid in store (often they are tied to your driver’s license) so you wouldn’t be able to use online or give it to anyone else.

Thanks for all the great info! Wish I’d known sooner, but maybe hopefully it will inform others 🙂

Lowe’s does not allow purchasing gift cards with gift cards.
