At the Neighborhood Walmart by me, I found 34 oz. Planters Cashews for $6 (regularly $16.98) in the holiday clearance aisle. Great price. Also a Planters Holiday mixed nuts tin for $3 (reg. $7.98).

I went today and got a few toothbrush gift sets and about 25 packages of 60 count non-holiday specific 60-count tissue paper. I’m set for the year for wrapping things nicely that I sell online. About $1.25 each.

Those pioneer woman mugs are cute but does the handle have metallic paint? I just tossed one from caribou b/c when I microwaved my coffee the handle got crazy hot and burned me…
We have two Walmarts a mile and a half from each other. The first one have a nice assortment of bath sets, candy, etc. My big find was Better Homes and Gardens outlet plug in wax warmers. They were the 12 days of Christmas print. They also had a snowman and a house scene too! They were marked down 50%. Regular price $10, down to $5. Got several for these for next year for my daughters teachers. In her school they switch classes for three subjects and then specials like art , etc. She is only in 4th grade, but thinking already for next year…. They also had a larger warmer with same 12 days print from $15 down to $7.50, got that one for my home! Got lots of larger wrapping paper (reg $4.88, 50%) making it $2.44. Will add that to my stash of wrap prints for next yr!
Hit second Walmart and looked like it had been trashed! This particular one is extremely busy and has different stuff than the first one. I shop at both from time to time. The employee I was talking with said they didn’t have a great selection left this year. I walked around and found nothing that I wanted or hadn’t purchased from the first one, so I left with an empty shopping cart……
I hit up Walmart at 8 am and my store had tons but it was flying off the shelves. Got tons of bath stuff for my son.
I got a lot of baking items too. Cookie cutters, cookie scoops, spatulas . I like to give all my nephew and nieces baking baskets for different holidays.
Some of my items also weren’t ringing up right but i had a nice cashier who corrected them all.
I am refusing to buy wrapping paper or bows until it drops more.
Why does everyone buy everything so fast? 70 or 75 would be better. My walmart never has anything left 🙁

Our store was almost sold out by 8am today. If you want a deal, you have to get on it when you can! I usually wait until at least 70 percent off, but not this year! I luckily found a few end caps that hadn’t been touched yet.
Walgreens and CVS in my area ususally have plenty left over for the 70% and up discounts.
Yeah, I wish everyone could just boycott the Christmas items until it reaches 75% or 90% off…

Maybe Michaels or Menards? I bought my flocked tree at Walmart on November 1st. I have my eye on a $499 tree at Target but I’m waiting for it to hit 70-90%!
Just a heads up… even tho plastic storage containers for ornaments are amongst the holiday items marked down, the containers are still regular price. When I inquired if I could get a price, the Dept/floor clerk said they are still regular price as WM sells a ton after the holidays when people are putting away their decorations. The red/green containers, if any left, will go on clearance around Feb 1.

Yeah Walmart and the Target especially are Notorious for things not ringing up right for the after Christmas sales. It’s a hassle but if you need stuff, is worth it!
Every year on December 26 I go to Walmart to stock up on Christmas candles but this year the candles are not included in the half off sale! Even the ones that are clearly labeled Holiday Edition. I went to two Walmart stores and both told me the same thing. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Van! You should find signs on the shelving that notes the discount for the items. If you are unsure, they have price checkers where you can scan the items barcode to see what it will ring up for at checkout. Hope this helps!
I got off work at 6 am and hit Walmart at 6:15 am. Things were already flying off the shelves. I saw people with cart fulls of Olay and Old Spice gift sets! I got 2 Olay sets, 2 Old Spice sets, Mens Bic razor set and Pantene for $4.94 each. Women’s Axe set for $7.44. I bought some $.44 towels and $.48 gift bags, $2.50 popcorn tin and $9.99 Hillshire Farms set. I’ll wait for wrapping paper to go to 75% off.
Walmart had a ton of amope pedi perfect foot file gift boxes that included socks n replacement file on clearance for $14.×× if you have the $10 printed coupon from coupons.com its a huge deal…. PS the coupons never seem to scan so somebody has to come over and help

I usually wait until 70-90% off but I went at 10 pm and my Walmart was insane! I bought 5 Axe gift sets at $4.xx and 3 men’s Dove gift sets at $7.xx
My husband uses Axe deodorant and body wash everyday so three items for less than $5 is a great deal to me! I found a train set originally $49.99 for $24.99. It’s really awesome but I’m thinking about returning it because I thought it was $12.99 😕
I found some realtree wrapping paper (this might be a southern thing LOL) that had a roll of camo and a roll of blue camo for around $2.50. I can use this all year and it was the very last one.

It will be interesting to see if WM has a ton of wrapping paper again this year. They had SO MUCH left last year, our entire seasonal lawn and garden section was still full at 75% off, plus still had several aisles inside full. Wonder if they offered less this year cuz that was crazy! I didn’t wrap more than a couple gifts this year so definitely don’t need it. Our stores never have much else exciting after Christmas.
