What’s the benefit of Dr. Bronner’s over traditional soaps? Is it just a natural hand soap?
Jessi, the package offers over 10 different ways to dilute it and use it as laundry detergent, pet wash etc. my husband uses it daily as body wash for his skin. He has problem skin and deals with oily skin, acne and depending on the time of year dryness.
There is a ton of things you can do with it!! There is a homemade detergent recipe that uses it and a dish soap!
We use as hand soap and body soap (dilute), we have sensitive skin.
I use it for a shampoo to remove buildup.
Have used as laundry detergent
From the item description : For everyday bodywashing: Get wet and pour soap full-strength onto hands-washcloth-loofah. Lather up, scrub down, rinse off, and tingle fresh & clean! Use Dr. Bronner’s for shaving, shampooing, massaging, brushing teeth, baths, dispensers, uniforms, diapers, babies, the beach, dentures, deodorant, aftershave, silk, wool, pets, car, hands, and feet.To simplify & enjoy life more, dilute 1/2 ounce or 2 squirts of this pure castile soap with 2 gallons (or sinkfull) of hot water, …
I dilute it into foaming soap dispensers, for use as a hand soap, and foaming body wash. My skin is HORRIBLY sensitive, but this is nice to my skin, and even improves it a bit. I use the tea tree oil one, because I am prone to some skin irrtations and rashes, and the tea tree is an antibacterial.
If you try this, note that if you have hard water, the soap will get cloudy in the water….it still works, but to me it’s less effective, and can jam up the soap dispenser. I dilute with distilled water.
I dilute it one part soap, to three or four parts water, for a foaming soap dispenser. If you use this undiluted, note that literally a single little drop is enough to wash your hands.
I use it on greasy pots. It is a good degreaser and not rough on your hands. Also use it to clean makeup sponges and brushes.
Yay!! Got one!! I love this stuff!! I use it as a body wash!!!❤️❤️❤️
Happy you could score one Jenifer!

Awesome! We love Dr bronners
I love this soap, I have been making my own hand soap and I love it!
How neat! Glad to hear you have liked this soap!
I like to put it in the bath with essential oils so the essential oils don’t irritate my skin. It acts as an emulsifier, I believe the correct word is!
Cool! Thanks for the helpful tip Catie! Good to know!
Also, I was able to order 3 lavendar without having to purchase $25 of anything else
Just don’t ever drop it full strength on clothing items. I found out the hard way that it will discolor it.
Thanks for the warning Dana!
Best shaving cream!!
Was able to get 1 almond and 2 lavender for 31 shipped. Thank you!

Got 3 almond (that’s the one we use regularly) and threw in 1 lavender to try. Love this stuff! Stock piled for awhile now. Thanks!

Thank you!!! Costco used to carry a huge bottle of this soap for $10. Super bummed that they stopped carrying it. I own an organic cleaning company and we use mostly Dr. Bronners products. 🙂
