Honey BBQ Baked Chicken Wings
In the mood for chicken wings?!
Today I’m re-highlighting one of our most popular recipe posts in the history of hip2save.com! This idea is worth mentioning again because Honey BBQ Chicken Wings are so DELICIOUS and very EASY to make at home. They are the perfect appetizer to make for a Super Bowl party or any type of entertaining and are a winning recipe at my house!!
This recipe is a simple process of first seasoning wings, baking them in the oven, and then adding the sauce at the end to caramelize over the wings which makes them extra gooey and crispy. YUM!
You can cook wings from frozen too! It will just double the cook time. We like to keep the large bag of frozen wings from Costco in the freezer, then make them as needed when football is on! Makes a great last minute, unplanned snack or meal the entire family will enjoy. 🙂
Tip: When baking chicken wings, I use an oven safe cooling rack over a baking sheet pan covered in foil or parchment paper for easy clean up afterwards. This helps with air circulation underneath for that desired crispy texture! SO good.

Thank you, we were just talking about plans for the SuperBowl last night!
Sounds delicious! Thanks
You’re welcome! Enjoy 😉
What I do is Alton Brown’s recipe- first you steam them, and then you roast them in the oven. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, tossing them in your favorite sauce is also optional (but not necessary- I serve them without). No messy, greasy frying…they come out super crispy and flavorful! Love that recipe…always a hit at my parties.
Oh nice! Thanks for sharing 👍
I’m assuming this will work with chicken breast also? I love fixing breast, not a wing person LoL. Thanks for the recipe, going to give it a go. 🙂
