Is this a credit that can only be applied to a purchase of a certain amount or just simply 10$ of credit? TIA!

    • Anna

I ordered this the last time they had it. It’s coupon towards the purchase of a Clinique item.

  2. Liesl

Last time I ordered a Clinique bag from Macy’s it came opened with half of the items missing. I contacted customer service and never heard back. 🙁

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh bummer! So sorry to hear your items were missing 🙁 Hoping you receive everything in your order if you decide to try again!

    • Mari

When I used to work Clinique and macys this is what sometimes would happen….. some nitwit manager would tell all the consultants to remove the plastic bag holding the all makeup items together ( cosmetic bag and makeup are shipped separately and those at counter have to put them together) most likely your bag was at the bottom of the barrel and it was mis-stuffed( some stores stuff 1000’s of these) even if u order online it’s most likely being shipped from a store…. customer service online can’t/won’t fix the order because these items are limited and run out. That’s why it’s best to go instore if u can, consultants at counter try to fix any issue you might have and I would always double check the bags before letting them leave…..

Thanks for sharing your experience and tips! Hip2Savers are the best!

I loved this little set! Minus the lipstick… bamboo pink is too frosty for me. Also I think it was $10 last time not $15

    • 50ShadesofLipstick

Yup. It was only $10 last time.

  4. LC

    I love Clinique. Thanks!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Perfect! You’re very welcome!

  5. brittany

Could you use the coupon to buy another bag?

  6. Dawn

I ordered a Clinique kit from Macy’s before Christmas. The top of a chubby blush stick was broken off and a black automatic eyeliner pencil did not work. No more Clinique and no more Macy’s for me. I guess that is why the Clinique was on sale.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh bummer 🙁 Sorry to hear your items were broken. Were you able to contact customer service?

    • Patty

I also bought a Clinique set at Christmastime in which the pencil didn’t work. I went to exchange it and before checkout, I checked the new kit. That pencil didn’t work either! It was the last kit they had. I work at the store, in jewelry. It was a bummer, but not Macy’s fault. Got my money back.

TSM H2S -bought one for $10 using my $5 beauty gift card from my Macy’s Beauty Box! This month’s beauty box had a useful nude lipstick by Clinique with a cute J Adler design!

    • TAT

Hi. I have been debating joining the Macy’s Beauty Box. If you don’t mind me asking, how long have you been receiving the boxes? Do you think it is worth it? TIA

      • crissy

I have been getting the Macys beauty box every month since October. The subscription is $15/month and there’s a $5 off code to use on another beauty purchase in the cute bag that all the items come in.
I have been VERY happy so far with mine. This month had that full size lipstick that was in the box so definitely worth it….plus the other goodies. You should try at least one month and you can always cancel if not pleased. I like my Macys “surprise” every month!

      • ShopHopper

Since last Fall – I have enjoyed all the items received so far. $15 gets you a makeup purse, and 5 cosmetic items – at least 1 is full sized, so definitely worth it. This month’s beauty box contained a sample sized Michael Kors sexyrubyperfume//full sized Clinique pop lip color+primer in nude pop //sample sized Smashbox always on matte liquid lipstick in bawse (rich red) //sample sized Philosophy pure grace nude rose body lotion //sample sized Ahava mineral hand cream-sea-kissed //Origins checks and balances frothy face wash plus a cute makeup purse.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hi there! I am not finding a limit listed as I look through the details.

  11. Lolie

Thank you! All we use is clinique.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re very welcome Lolie! Happy to hear how much you have liked the Clinique brand!

  12. dk

    Thank you! A great deal

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You are SO welcome!

  13. Bridgette Hale

Where can you use the $10 Clinique credit at? Only are Macy’s?

  14. Kelly

I saw this “deal” in the Macys marketing email and had to laugh. This is basically identical to what you’d receive in the “free gift with purchase” during the Clinique free gift time. While the cosmetic bags vary as do which samples you receive, you almost always get the yellow lotion, mini mascara and eye makeup remover. This is not a “deal”!! This is Macys and Clinique way of testing out a new way to charge for what normally would be free! Only someone totally clueless would actually spend money for this and think you got a deal! The $10 Clinique credit makes it necessary to make an additional purchase but Macys-Clinique is still milking extra money from its customers.

    • Diana C

Speak for yourself I’m NOT “clueless” and have been using and hunting down clinique deals for years. THIS IS a heck of a deal…I love smaller sizes to travel. and why in the world would I want to spend $30 to get a Free gift when I can spend $15 and get $10 for future purchase???? OH and retailmenot is giving $10 cashback too. But you wouldn’t know about good deals obviously. thank you hip2save I love your deals!

    • Sarah

I wouldn’t say only someone totally clueless would think this was a deal. It IS a deal as you normally have to spend between $27 to $35 (depending on the store) to get it for “free”. Lots of people like the samples and just want those without have to spend so much money. I buy Clinique regularly and oftentimes list what I don’t use out of the sample pack on Mercari or eBay or Poshmark and guess what? People buy them!! There’s definitely a market for it!

    • YOUR MOM

If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all.

    • Rose

I have to agree with everyone else as a mom of 7 I cant buy $30 worth everytime. This is a good deal for me thanks Hip2 Save. I got the other deals posted and they were Awesome the bags were cute too.

  15. Learning To Save

When do I get $10. I haven’t received any email or shows in my Macy’s account.

  16. Kay

I agree with Kelly that this isn’t a deal, not for me anyway. I want an item that’s $35. I can spend $35 n get the free gift set when it’s that season. Or if I do this deal, I’m spending $40 ($15 on the kit and $25 on the item I wanted). The $25 comes from $10 credit off $35.

  17. Tammy

That is just so incredibly rude! You do not know this lady, much less her situation. Just because someone does not want to spend $30.00 does not mean that she does not have the money, it may be a question of personal priorities.

Come to think of it, providing gratuitously negative and obnoxiously crude commentary to strangers is also a bad life decision . . .

  18. Tammy

We now return to our regularly scheduled Cllinique discussion.

  19. Cathy

After reading the comments, now I am regretting my purchase. LOL I am glad it was only $15.00. I guess I was one of the “clueless” ones. LOL

  20. Sarah

Thank you! Bamboo Pink is my fav. Lipstick and was just about to buy some at full price. Perfect timing…now I get a little extra and the credit!

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re welcome!

  21. Sandra

    Round one.
