We has a lunch left in a backpack sitting behind, our most sat in chair in our family room, for almost 3 weeks, over break, even the visitors didn’t smell it. When it went to school unnoticed, and was unzipped, everyone in the class smelled it, and in classes down the hall. But while it was zipped, untouched in our family room, It went totally unnoticed. I LOVE these backpacks and lunch boxes. My son is really hard on backpacks and these hold up! I had purchased two initially so that he would have a replacement when his first one got ruined. That never happened. Lunch boxes are equally as impressive. Both come clean in the washer. Excellent product and great price!

I had bought one for my kindergartener and the quality is super. Can’t go wrong with lands end.
What size did you go with for a kindergartener?
I ordered a small classmate backpack for my niece who is in kindergarten and it fits her well. I got a medium for my second grader, great fit and quality! I actually think Lands End backpacks are of better quality than pottery barn kids.
I was so excited to order lunch box for my daughter. And money is definitely tight right now. Until I saw the $8 shipping. I can’t stand the idea of paying more for shipping than I’m paying for the product!!
