Sorry Cathy, this isn’t unique to you and I don’t mean it personally, but it really irks me when people post things like this. This H2S post – and the extreme majority of posts on this website – contain referral links. Those links, whether it be to another website, an offer like this, or even a link to a coupon generally earn Hip2Save money when people follow them and complete a transaction. The folks who run this website are awesome and genuinely care about the people who frequent this site (the fact that they allow people to post their of referrals is proof alone), but nonetheless this is a FOR PROFIT website. They make their living by posting these great deals/offers. By posting your own referral links and possibly persuading people to follow your link instead of theirs you are directly taking money away from them. That’s not to say you don’t need it more, but if everyone followed the referral links of other people, this website would not exist. I’m sure you have no bad intent, but you are effectively using their business and the work that they have done as a platform to try to take the money they would normally be earning and have it awarded to you instead,

I understand your concern and appreciate your extensive note. I hope you copy and paste the same comment on everyone else’s comments that contain referral links, because this is my first offense while I’ve seen others do it repeatedly.
Check the earlier Wayfair posts for example where a user probably made hundreds or thousands of referral bonus dollars sharing their referral link. I hope you admonish them the same way you do to me.
Also, now that you’ve gotten your thoughts out of your system, I hope you realize how I feel after reading your comment. I’m apologetic to anyone that I may have harmed…but I’m also feeling cyber bullied and I just want to cry now…
