There shipping charges are insane.
A good way to combat the high shipping is to get as many freebies as you can on one order, then order something over $39 and get free shipping. I might go ahead and do all 4 freebies, a free photo book with unlimited pages (extra pages and a similac free book code) 10 free magnets (ibotta) and do a nice gift for $39ish (or 2-3 smaller items) and get it all shipped for around $40.

I do this a lot: wait for a day when they are giving out a bunch of freebies, look on H2S to see if anyone lists generic code freebies and add my own personal codes from the many emails I sign up to receive, bring total up to the free shipping minimum with a nicer item…
today I had personal codes for 50% off from Gymboree (or free puzzle, but todays freebie had puzzle), kelloggs magnet, gymboree 8×8 book, and a P&G free notepad. Other freebies I read about today included APPTAGS for 2 free small luggage tags (I use these for Christmas ornaments), GB2456 (4) 8×10 Art Prints; SPRINGONIT for the 4 freebies; PREZDAY calendar (got an easel calendar for 2019)
So, I got 4 art prints, 2 luggage tags, 2 notepads, easel calendar, magnet, ceramic mug, puzzle, shopping bag, 8×8 photobook and for my nicer item, a metal print 10×14 originally $84.99, used the 50% off code, then used the FREESHIP39 code listed on the site…
My total including tax was $50.80 for 15 items!! That = $3.39 per item, pretty awesome score. I learned about this a few years ago from other H2S readers and try to pass it along, little late today…

I have the four freebies in my cart but it is not taking off all four, only three, charging me for the notebook? Have they changed it so you do have to pick out of the bag or the book? Or am I doing something wrong?

when there’s a deal like this on shutterfly it’s best to add something else and get free shipping. for instance yesterday I got all four plus a cell phone case… original price 55.00… i used the free shipping code: ship39 and since everything is 40% off; i paid 45 dollars for everything. my point is: if ur gonna pay 32 dollars for shipping… add something to get ur bill up to 39. then ur shipping becomes free. you get more bang for ur buck. not sure I did a great job explaining this. but I hope it helped.
