Not being snarky, this is genuine curiosity. It says the recipes are “inspired by” family favorites. So it sounds like a collection of other people’s recipes of meals her family happens to enjoy. Is this right? Is this common for celeb cookbooks?
I think that’s a good question. There are probably recipes that are family favorites, but I think all are probably tested, tweaked and probably revamped depending on the test kitchen results. I saw plenty of recipes on the menu that I doubt she developed on her own. Nevertheless, It’s a matter of if the content appeals to your taste as to whether or not this book is worthy of taking a spot on your shelf.
