This vacuum is amazing. Every time my husband vacuums he raves about his he’ll never own another vacuum. 😁 I would not recommend it for large spaces due to battery/being cordless. Does great on our 1800sq ft space, so lightweight & easy to use!

I agree with Cortney!!! This vacuum can suck up a canister full of dog hair/dust with just three passes over a small area of our rug! It is amazing. I delight in showing its performance off for guests (mostly family); it’s that special. It has such concentrated power in it’s head unit hence the name motorhead. I have owned a Dyson previously and this one is just far superior as far as getting pet hair up! Highly, highly recommended!!!

This works great on hardwood floors. I only have a few area rugs and my house has hardwood throughout. So thumbs up!
Just notice you said “so kids can help” in your comment…I would say for older children (say 7 or older) it would be ok but because it’s so long (it’s a stick unit), a younger child might have difficulty maneuvering it around. I would suggest a dustbuster for little ones hands. Good luck.

To all the folks that own a Dyson. I have the animal upright vacuum & after about 5 minutes the suction stops working. Has anyone encountered this? If so, how do you fix it? Am i just a vacuum dud? Lol it’s my first vacuum & I’ve only heard of great things about Dyson, I want to be able to use it. I’ve just had it sitting here and sweep everything.
i would suggest that you just google the internet for you tube videos on how to fix a non-sucking Dyson. Many people make videos to share the how to’s. If its too complicated, then i’d take it to a repair shop or call Dyson directly. Good luck.
