We normally use Dr. Elsey’s Precious Cat Ultra Scented Cat Litter, which we love and has little to no dust. BUT you cannot beat free!

My store only had the buckets with the marroon/ pink lids and said those aren’t it. Said the coupon is for the green lid buckets. Anyone else have this issue?

The coupon has a generic code but it attaches to your Petco Pals rewards account so it is a limit of one per account.

Actually no, I get them at Tractor Supply Company (there’s probably one near you, they are popping up everywhere now!) These awesome pellets were made for horse stalls, but they’ve become a little secret in the cat Community because they are environmentally friendly, they don’t stink, and they turn to sawdust when they get peed on. Some people just use the pellets in a cat box, other people use the pellets with a Tidy Cats Breeze box. If you do a search on YouTube there are a few videos around about it now. I’d explain the whole thing but it would probably be a bit too wordy. 🙂 Good luck!

I think this is the clumping/scoopable type litter that is not recommended for traction in snow and ice. I have used the regular non-scooping/non-clumping kind on my deck and steps when they are ice covered and it works well but I think scoopable litter would make it more slippery. Just a friendly heads up.

I found out this is not legit per customer service from petco.
How strange, as many readers have been able to grab it and the offer is available on the Petco site. Were you able to show them the coupon?
Weird…the cashiers at my local Petco knew all about the coupon and several other customers were using it at the same time I was.

Went to Petco today they have “Free 30lb so phresh litter with any purchase of blue buffalo cat food 4lb or larger bag” many of the cat food was clearanced out so I got two 30lb buckets of litter and a 7lb bag of cat food for $13!

its expired as of thia morning, 8/25/18 despite the article stating until 8/31/18.
I was able to use mine this afternoon (8/25) without any issue.
Why does this say it’s expired but the coupon says the deal is valid until 8/31? Luckily, I printed the coupon so I’m going to try and use it today.
If you already got the coupon you can use it, otherwise it is currently gone.
