I’ve never ordered groceries online and I thought ordering and delivering to a family member that just had a baby and is another state would be the perfect time to try this. Ugh! I spent an hour sorting through Kroger’s site to select quick and easy fruits, vegetables, and snack items for her family. Then I see the code says not valid as I try to check out! This order quickly before it expires stuff is not for me!!

Should have familiarized myself with the policies first. I ordered a $6 pack of chicken which was out of stock and they replaced it with a $15 pack of chicken! What the what? That is a huge difference to me. Contacting them now to see what my options are. Don’t know if I can return it to the store.

That is something your shopper should NOT have done. I am a shopper for Instacart and would never do that. Hopefully they can resolve it for you and the shopper becomes more knowledgeable.

After a long back and forth with customer service and supervisors they requested that I screenshot them the PROOF that I do have the coupon still available in my account. I did just receive a response saying that they did receive my picture and they are working to resolve this issue. Still very unclear of my future with this order.

Please beware of Instacart! On top of them charging a monthly fee for membership; they also hit you with a 5% “service fee” that goes directly to Instacart on each order you make (delivery drivers don’t get one cent from this fee) – but that’s not the worst of it, they ALSO hit you with a 10%-15% markup on each item at Publix! We only caught on because on more than one occasion the delivery driver left the original Publix receipt in the bags. We did comparisons from what we were charged by Instacart vs. Publix’s original pricing and everything was always marked up! NO WHERE does Instacart disclose they engage in this practice. We’ve also confirmed they tack on 25% markups at places like BJ’s!!! They do it at all the stores they deliver on. BEWARE. Please note, this has nothing to do with the drivers; they are innocent in all of this and as such should still be compensated accordingly by giving them tips when they deliver your items. After reviewing all the fees, memberships and hidden markups with Instacart, we bailed.
I have read some really bad reviews about the company.
Instacart is a luxury service. You are getting a personal shopper to do your shopping and deliver to your door. Why wouldn’t that cost more than going to the store yourself?

I received my order today. Got 12 items for a little over $8. This was my first time with instacart and I’m satisfied. I was able to msg the young lady who was doing my order to ask her to remove an item when I saw it was higher than I wanted to pay. She was quick to respond and make the adjustments and delivery was fast. For me it was a positive experience, thank you for the great deal today. Especially since I was able to stock up on paper products.

Earlier they said it was a technical issue got another email that said it’s expired. What a joke.
Did this early this am right after it posted and got my $35 order in—paid $5.99 for delivery and tipped $4 and then another fee…anyways, only $12 total!! Well, I received my order minus a gallon of milk and two substitutions made, and was charged more than the store receipt shows. Also received a random fee. I’m waiting to hear back from Instacart.
I got your milk! Lol I received a gallon of milk and a can of Grands biscuits that I didn’t order. They said to keep or donate them. I was unhappy with my chicken substitution. I ordered a $6.45 package and the picker gave me a $14 package! They credited the difference to my account. After I use that, I probably wouldn’t use them again. I can’t justify spending the markup on Publix items.
The shopper should not of left the receipt in your bags, that’s one of the first things we’re told. (I am a shopper)
