It is saying that the $35 code expired. Is anyone else having that problem?
They have apparently been tipped off on the whole stackable promo codes. I spent nearly 30 minutes picking out my $55 worth of items. I screenshot the before total ($55 and change) and the after total ($9 and change, Inc delivery charge and tax, preset tip amount). The whole time I’m thinking this is “too good to be true”! Sure enough, after providing Instacart my credit card information, delivery address and cell number…. I click place order and the next page reads:
We’re sorry but the coupon discount amount has changed.
!!!!! Wow. So the total went back up to $44, only when I clicked to actually place the order. Now, I have the task of trying to find the help number or email and immediately cancelling my account, as well as monitoring bank statements for any futur, unauthorized transactions with this company.
On average, 95% of the time, Hip 2 Save coupon codes work. This doesn’t seem like a glitch. Could be area specific or as stated, someone got tipped off and realized people were getting groceries for nearly free.
Sigh.
