Heads up that these are 48″ x 72″ if you get the heavier ones. The size is not really that big but it depends on if you are planning to sleep with it?
I was worried about this, but 48 is still bigger than a twin size mattress. It should be fine for one person to sleep under.
I have a 15 lb purchased from Amazon several months back. Just checked and it is 60″ x 80″ and it plenty big for sleeping under (in my opinion). It actually covers over half my queen sized bed. I would think the 48″ x 72″ would work well and is a great price for a 20 lb blanket. I grabbed two as gifts for family who have tried to snag mine, lol!

It really depends on what you are ordering. Shipping is slow. Name brand things are fine to order. I think clothing is hit or miss though.
I order through Zulily a lot. Pay attention to the shipping times. A lot of items are coming from somewhere else entirely. So it may take weeks to get to them and then even longer to get to you. Anything with the little wrapped gift box next to it is guaranteed by xmas. I’ve noticed lately they have a lot more items in stock and they ship a lot faster. They never used to accept returns and they do now, mostly for store credit I think. Their customer service is great. I have had more hits than misses when I order for sure.

Shipping is sometimes slow… especially when you are used to amazon prime, but I’ve loved my zulily purchase. The one time I was unsatisfied they refunded my money and told me I could donate the item to a local charity… which I did!

Wendy, I was concerned about this too. I googled the brand but didn’t get any results. But then I saw that the blanket can be returned to Zulily for store credit (with $8.95 restocking fee) so thought it would be worth a shot! I like that it has a removable cover to go in the wash. Most weighted blankets don’t come with a cover so that’s usually an extra cost.
I got one with free shipping. I first checked out with a small Melissa & Doug toy (stamp markers set $3.49) which ships free. I then ordered the 15 lbs blanket in a second transaction with free shipping. And now I have free shipping until midnight.

Any recommendations for what weight blanket would be good for someone that weighs about 110 pounds? (Yeah, not me! Lol)
I would probably go with the 12 lb for them. They say try to be within 10% of the person’s weight and add an extra couple of pounds.
I weighh 110 and sleep under a 12 pound blanket every night. Works well.
The description says it has a cover . Does that mean the cover can be removed for laundering? I’ve seen comments that say you should buy a weighted blanket with a removable cover for laundering purposes, because the blanket itself can’t be washed.

weighted blankets are supposed to be 10% of a person’s body weight plus 1 or 2 lbs. I don’t think it has a washable cover just says machine washable.
I read an article that said it’s even more effective to go closer to 20% of your body weight. I think there’s a range. I wouldn’t go that heavy for a child though.
