Amazon reviews were mixed. People loved or said it lost its non stick fast. Anyone have this?
I have the entire set, including the induction burner. This is my favorite piece of the set. As far as the non-stick part…. I’ve had mine about 14 months and I’ve not had an issue with that. I believe the ability of this feature to last comes down to care. I never put mine in a dishwasher (or any of my pots and pans). Like most cookware, this item has specific guidelines to maintenance, and I would guess a lot of people failed to read or follow them. For Example:
– You cannot use aerosol cooking sprays on it (this specifically causes the nonstick to fail over time)
– Do not immerse a hot pan in cold water
– You are supposed to fill it with Hot water and dish soap and let it cool to lukewarm before cleaning; you aren’t supposed to clean with hot water.
– You can only use a soft item like a cloth or sponge to clean it
– It is dishwasher safe; however, with most dishwasher safe cookware – the process of a dishwasher will wear it down over time. You are only ever suppose to use non-lemon detergents but most don’t know that, when it comes to dishwashers. You really have to make sure all food particles are off all of your dishes in the dishwasher because food particles alone are abrasive and can cause damage to your cookware with the amount of force that happens in decent dishwashers
– Utensil usage is important
-If you have stuck on food its better to put water and detergent in it and then cook it to loosen the food rather than trying to loosen it yourself

We LOVE ours. My husband is a kitchenware snob. My Mom got it for us for Christmas and we’ve used it every night. Totally love it and it’s so easy to clean.
And I just got a copper pan without all the accessories for around this price a few months ago. Wish I could return it and get this!
