It’s a shame it doesn’t apply to Veterans. Especially ones who have actually fought in wars.

      Says retired, which means veterans

      • Meg

If you serve a “career” (20+yrs) in the military, you are considered a retiree. Veterans could have served any length of time, but we aren’t considered retirees and usually aren’t entitled to the retiree benefits/deals. At least this is my understanding, I would love to be wrong!

      • Brittanee

Retired and veteran status are different. But we get the military package every year and at least in the past veterans did qualify as well. I would call Shades of Green and ask their ticket department to check. They are great there.

They say to go to the installation for purchase. If you can get into a installation, I would check their travel office.

(May be active duty/retired because they are sold through the installations, and you have to be able to get onto the installation)

I agree. My husband served 7 years with 4 long deployments while active duty in the Navy. That doesn’t include the times he went out a month here or 3 weeks there. He is 80% disabled. He is now a police officer, but they do not offer first responder tickets either. They do allow 100% disabled veteran to get discounts.

      • TaraB

How did he get 80% disability and still become a Cop?

Thank you to our military and their families for serving our beautiful country. For all of your sacrifices you deserve this wonderful discount to Disneyland/Disney World. Thank you!!!

  4. Tara

If anyone is a Florida resident, it’s cheaper. 3 day is $175 and 4 day is $195. The tickets have to be used sooner, but there’s no blackout from now until June.

  5. TaraB

Yeah Sucks its not for VETERANS…..

Any idea how often this kind of deal comes around? Wanting to go next year or early 2021. Thx!

    • Amanda

Every year there is this deal = ) At least for many years in the past they have been doing it.
