I use pictures and I have also made sayings to give as gifts. I take un-copyrighted sayings or copy from catalogues popular prints.Everyone loves them. I have made over 4 dozen the past few deals!
There is an app I like using called Paintkeep . It turns your photos into watercolors or pastels. I love what it does. Anyway, I have had some of these artsy photos printed and will often get the low resolution warning. But they have turned out nice just the same. Also, I have noticed that turning a low resolution photo into black & white can improve the results.
The receipts that come with these Walgreens orders have a miniature version of the photo that was printed. We cut them out and let our daughter play with them in her dollhouse! Lots of deals so Barbie has lots of photos of our family. Lol! 🙂

Are these better than the wrapped canvas?
I wouldn’t say better than a wrapped canvas, but they are a very well made product. I purchase canvas prints in very large sizes and these are much smaller and more affordable.
I prefer wrapped canvas if you’re looking for something really really nice. I buy these all the time on the 75% deals for myself and for christmas presents though. They are just a print glued onto a wood backing but it’s nice that they come with a peg instead of needing to be hanged or framed. They’re an instant gift. .

I believe you can if you select a different person to pick it up. You can just retype in your name as the alternate person.
