Are the bikes with no pedals better for small kids?? Would it be better to wait until my kid is 3 to get a bike with pedals? I don’t really want to buy 2 bikes. Any advice?

    • Beth

These bikes make it so the kids can move right up to one without training wheels and take off like they’ve always know how to ride it. They are FANTASTIC for developing balance!!!

        Thank you.

Recommend highly getting the balance bike! My grandkids had one and learned balance and never needed training wheels at all.

Thank you! For anyone who wants the red, it is $39 on Walmart but $47 at amazon on the links above. Just ordered one.

For those that are curious if their kids can ride a balance bike by 2 yrs old. Yes they can! They start to learn how to sit and use their feet to walk on them. Then they learn how to balance by walking their bike and tipping their body from side to side.

The way to adjust proper seat is to have them sit comfortably on the seat and make sure their feet are planted on the floor. Adjust the seat post if needed.

I really appreciate the post on this offer and those who took the time to write comments about the no-pedal bike. I was completely unfamiliar with this item but ordered one for my only grandchild’s 2nd birthday coming up at the start of summer. I am thinking he will look exactly like the 2nd picture in the post—looking at the lights and not where he is going!
