   I’m a marathon runner and the Brooks Pure Cadence had been my racing shoe of choice. I had hundreds of miles on two different pairs of the Pure Cadence 6. But they did something different to the 7s and made them just awful. I tried and tried to run in them thinking I just needed to break them in, but they never were just right so I ended up just giving them away.

  I have an older pair of Ravenna’s that I love!! They feel like they give me an extra spring in my step. I ordered a pair of the Ravenna 9’s hoping they will be comparable or even better. Have tried other similar shoes to have a different look but end up returning because they are not quite as comfortable.

  I have these Ravennas and like them, but I’ve found that adding the Spenco Total Support Original inserts have made a big difference in comfort across all of my running shoes! I’m a newer runner, so it could be just me, but I thought I’d throw it out there!

  Ravennas are my fave! I’ve had the 4, 5, 7 & 8. I have so much confidence in this shoe that I now buy it online. No need for a fitting. I’m a very casual runner, so I can’t speak for those who run more than 3-4 miles at a time.

   Hoka is the only brand I will buy now. Night and day difference in comfort with no pain.
