I got one for dads birthday end of January. When arrived and he set up quickly and is amazed by how fast his plants are growing. Sends pics everyday. My Mom said its probably the best present we ever got him. He’s in there all day admiring his plants. The lite only go to 17″ high and his plants are almost there. Not sure how or if he will transfer to another planter. The plants are so full and green. He loves it. Not going to say what he’s growing………….but it makes him happy!

I have one and just bought a second. I’ve really liked mine. I grow herbs and want to try growing either strawberries or tomatoes and peppers in the other one. Just haven’t set it up yet. I’d recommend it, especially if you love the smell of fresh basil!

Does anyone know how this one compares to the slightly more expensive models? Is it worth spending a little extra?
Not necessarily. The most convenient part is having more planting spots. All the Aero-Gardens are great units, after they switched to LEDs which don’t need replacement. The bulb models were a money pit.
We have 3 different models of this brand throughout the family. In my opinion, they all perform the same. It’s a matter of personal preference. Color, style, size, etc. Love mine!
My parents bought me this for Christmas and my whole family is obsessed! We live in an apartment with no balcony or patio so it’s been great having our own fresh herbs to cook with. The plants are super easy to take care of, my kids love helping! The buttons light up when it needs more water or plant food. I had one pod (mint) not sprout but the rest grew very quickly.
