Did he even finish the series yet?
I gave up on GRRM when I got sick of waiting for him. I was reading these books when I was pregnant with my 11yo… I fail to see how he has this empire and following when he hasn’t even proven he can bring it to a close successfully?!

      It’s finished

Lol…to whom?! I have a sneaking feeling that his ending was conjured up by HBO producers. It’s pretty clear from the books he changed his mind a couple times and couldn’t quite figure out where he was going. He went like 3 books without even mentioning Rikkon and the whole bit about Kat’s little ghost clan seems to have just been a tangent I’m supposed to forget about now.
I remember back then I was just beginning in couponing…that’s how long I’ve been coming to H2S! I’m old lol…

The show has long deviated from the books. JRRM has given the producers an outline of the how the show was gonna end. No book to movie/tv show is EVER gonna follow the plot word for word. Some things have to get cut out and re-arranged. Enjoy the show for what IT IS and the book for what IT IS!

Haven’t read OR watched but just saw a preview. NOW I get why our neighborhood is overrun with huskies lately… 🤣
