My sister purchased a mobile kitchen island from Wayfair and the quality looks and feels great. It’s held up for about 2 years now and through 1 move.
I also have a coworker who said their customer service is amazing if there are any problems.

We bought a sofa and loveseat from Wayfair. It came in a box and needed to be assembled. That immediately turned my husband off. I think it looks great for the price we paid. It is on the smaller side, therefore if my kids horseplay on the couch (not up against a wall) it will flip over, and not terribly comfortable. The cushions are held on with Velcro and need to be readjusted every time someone sits down. Overall not the best purchase we have made but I still like the look of them. My husband now swears against buying any furniture that he can’t personally sit on and try out before we buy it. This is just our experience with this particular buy from Wayfair and by no means assume that all their furniture is like this.

When buying online I read ALL the reviews and all of the descriptions. I also check what it says under “materials” since a lot of the cheaper stuff is manufactured wood or mdf. After doing this for a while, it’s much easier to tell what is worth the hassle of dealing with assembly.
I bought a two-piece leather L-shaped sofa from Macy’s in the store years ago that had pressboard supports that broke after a few years. Once we pulled off the bottom cover and looked inside, we noticed how cheaply it was made. We could not add more wood to brace it up and fix it because the pressed wood was crumbling.

A few of my friends love Wayfair. I worry about returns because I am so picky. I prefer to order from places where I can return the item to a physical store.
It’s not Wayfair furniture, they have furniture from all different manufacturers. If you want to buy something, search the manufacturer company name and “sofa” or “chair” or “lamp” on the internet to see if you can find other reviews on that item. I usually will look on Amazon to see if they have something similar since they usually have a lot of reviews.
