Yep, I’m sold! I was sick of sitting all day and wanted something to keep me moving. I don’t think of this as a replacement for exercise but rather as something to add on and just keep my blood circulating a bit more; get away from the dangers of just sitting still for so many hours a day. My concerns were that maybe it would be inconvenient or I just wouldn’t use it, but neither is true. Sometimes when I’m really concentrating, I will stop pedaling but otherwise, this is easy to use throughout the day. I love it!
I wanted to wait until my home office was set up before I wrote this review. Today is the first day that I am using my Cubii and I have to say that my legs are already getting a workout. I have my Fitbit tracker shoved into my sock and since 8AM, I have already peddled 5,785 steps. The machine is super quiet and I am alone in my office so I would hear the squeaking. My old machine was very noisy. If my legs ache at the lowest setting, I am kind of afraid to turn it up until I give my legs a few days to adjust. My goal is 10,000 steps a day. I really love this little machine!
I am a disabled Veteran with spinal cord injury and a torn meniscus and I am enrolled in online schooling. So since I have been injured, I’ve gained a lot of weight and have tried numerous diet pills, shakes, etc. Most left me feeling sick and I don’t get much exercise. I’ve had this for a week – this machine is great because it’s smooth on the joints and I love using it!! I use it for about four hours a day. It’s very quiet, was extremely easy to set up, it doesn’t take up a lot of space and it’s quality made. If I could give it stars, I would!
Anyone tried this? Thoughts?
I’m debating on it too. I did pull up some reviews and it’s on the list of the top 5 for 2018. I believe I need to actually try one before I commit to spending on one. My desk at work is one of the very old metal type and is very low so I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to use it without hitting my knees.
I have one and I love it! It is actually very quiet and is very smooth. I have a keyboard slide out holder and I position mine so that I can easily pedal without hitting my knees. I also love that they include two wheel stops so my rolling chair stays in place when in use.
Does it give you an actual workout or does it really not do much?
I have one. It’s not really a workout, more an opportunity to move your muscles when stuck sitting at your desk. I like it and would recommend it only for that.
