Still Squattin’? We’re Checking In On Our Squat Challenge Peeps!
A couple of weeks ago, we launched our 30-Day 100 Squat Challenge as a fun and easy way to kickstart getting active for summer. We want to check in — are you still squatting with us?
Side note, Collin here keeping it real. I actually totally failed at the squat challenge due to being sick last week and dealing with severe laryngitis (not fun when you love to talk!). I did restart the 30 day challenge this week! 👊
Why get in on our Squat Challenge?
The cost of fitness can skyrocket if you don’t monitor it. From the gear to the equipment to the gym membership fee, it adds up pretty quick! We wanted an easy and FREE way to get our bodies in motion towards an achievable but challenging goal — 100 squats.
If you started when we first announced it on May 1st, we would technically be on Day 14 with 55 squats. WOO HOO! 🎉 More than halfway there!
But, if you haven’t started yet (or have maybe fallen off for a day or 2), no worries! Either start at Day 1 or pick back up on the last day you completed your set of squats.
Need accountability?
Send this challenge to a friend to complete together and be squat buddies! You’ll both likely stay on track when another person is checking in, and you can motivate each other when one of you doesn’t feel like getting your exercise in.
Another idea is to pick out a reward for yourself when you complete the challenge. Maybe it’s a new insulated water bottle you’ve been eyeing. Or perhaps a new pair of cute leggings. Whatever your heart desires, use it as your motivation!
Be sure to download our graphic to your home screen or print it out to strike through as you go (or you can add stickers to mark progress). Regardless of where you are in the challenge, keep pushing through!
A few of us on the team have been taking part in this challenge, too. It’s not easy, but the results will be so worth it!
Yes!! I have a love hate relationship with them but very thankful for your post and my friend joined me as well!!
WooHoo! That’s great and having a buddy definitely helps! 🙌
I’m completed day 14 today. 😊
Yay! That’s awesome! Way to go!
On Day 11 with a friend from work. Can’t believe I am doing 50 squats when I could barely do the first 20!
Way to go! 👊
Yes! I’ve upped my game & did 75 squats before work this morning. Also added pushups into the repertoire to improve my upper body strength. Thanks for the motivation!!
WOW! You are kicking some butt! 🙌
Yes!!!! Hating the pain, I can feel my thighs getting hard, so Yeah!!!
WooHoo! 👊
Yes! I just did day 14 this morning! Thanks for the motivation!!
Awesome to hear! 🙌
I was so sore for 3 days after trying the first day to do 20 and only ended up doing 14. LOL. I am so out of shape. I tried to lower the game to 5, and I still got sore some the next day. This is pathetic.
It’s not pathetic, it’s your body getting stronger. Way to go! Just keep it up and it will feel “easier”! You got this:)
Not pathetic at all! The soreness will go away if you keep at it! (If you skip days it’ll take longer for your body to adapt and you’ll be sore longer. Seems strange, but true.) If you’re able, soak for 15 mins in an epsom salt bath. Totally helps ease sore muscles. Keep going strong, you got this!!
I have been using Plant Therapy Muscle aloe jelly after exercise and helps a lot.
Keep on truckin’ on – you are doing great! We are here to support ya! 🙌
What had happen was… lol let me go do my 55 today :). Thank you for reminding us.
I just did say 13 this morning and doing day 14 tonight!! Cause who wants to do them all together? 😉
Yes I am. Doing with a group of friends. Trying to hold us all accountable.
60 traditional squats yesterday as well as 60 side squats. We can do this.
👊
Still squattin’ here! I up my game by doing it twice a day, though i have to stop in the middle to catch a breath😂🤣.
Wow! You are rockin’ it! 💃
I didn’t know squatting is so beneficial till all the Zumba instructors have us do them all the time. I get my squats in thru Zumba.

I’ve kept up with it and have only flip-flopped one rest day with a squat day. Prepping to do day 14 right now.

Just did them to Mandisa’s “Overcomer.” It was motivating for sure.
Still squatting… its race week for me! No better way to keep the strength in my legs 🦵
Still going strong! I added pushups (half the number of squats) and abs (same number as squats) to the routine. To keep things interesting, I split the squats into three groups (standard, sumo, and chair) and hold a10-lb dumbbell for added resistance. Thanks for the original post and ongoing motivation!!
WOW! That’s awesome! Thanks for taking the time to share what you’re doing.
Loving the camaraderie here! 🙂 You all are inspiring! Keeps me going on my squats knowing others are doing the same.
I’m on Day 14 with you! Happy squatting!!
Im still going too! A friend from work joined me!
Yes!
Absolutely
Still squatting but Im no longer smiling 🙂
We got this even if we’re not smiling! 😉
Yes I am still hanging in here… Day 14 for me today… Lets Squat 55…
This is a promise to myself everyday. I’m doing it!
GO TINA! 🤗
Missed a few days but I’m back at it today
Awesome Nancy! And I am in the same boat as I didn’t do squats all last week due to being sick. We got this. 👊
Had a stressful day at work and was so not motivated to workout. But then read this post and the encouraging comments others had left, and got my bum off the couch and did my squats! Thanks all, I really need that today! 🙂
Oh good! You’re so welcome! So glad this was helpful!
I’ve missed a few days and just make up for it by swapping around rest days. My children watched me do it one night and the next night they all lined up to do the squats with me! It’s really amazing how our fitness routine as parents rubs off on our children. The saying “more is caught than taught” is so true!
Still squatting! I’m on day 15. Was surprised I was only sore the 2nd day and haven’t been since. I love all the ideas of adding in some pushups and situps. I was thinking of doing that after day 30 but you all are motivating me to start earlier. Go team!!
Yes I just did my 50 squats last night. I am doing it when my bf so we’re always constantly reminding each other every night!!
Still at it and love it! Bring on some more!!! 🙂 Another squat challenge next month (to keep us all continuing) and add something else please!!!
Be sure to stay tuned Margie!
I have been doing 100 every morning 6 days a week for a few months now, I also add some weights. It really does enhance the butt area.
Still on track….noticing my belly is much flatter! Nice surprise.
Slacked off for a few days, but did 50 burning ones today. Lol Thanks for the motivation and reminder!
Do they have to be 100 in one go?
That’s what you want to work up to, Luca!
