I have also found that the AARP website (you don’t have to be a member) has a program called “rewards for good”, and you can take quizzes to get points to buy carnival giftcards at 10% off. 🙂
Just another idea if you’re a frequent cruiser!

What a neat tip! Thanks for sharing, Emily!

The AARP program will be changing soon, and sometime in August they will start everyone over from 0, just thought I’d share.

      • Teresa

Did AARP notify customers they would be doing that?

        • M

I believe the details will be coming soon, and I just saw a notice on the website today but didn’t look at the details

What happens to my points after Rewards for Good ends?
Points will not carryover to AARP Rewards and any unused Rewards for Good points will be lost. For more details visit our Terms and Conditions page.

Why don’t my Rewards for Good points carry over to AARP Rewards?
We are updating the program which will include a new point earning and redeeming structure. This means Rewards for Good points will not carry over. You will be able to continue to earn points for completing activities in AARP Rewards, but there will be less focus on points and more focus on activities.

Will I receive updates regarding the end of Rewards for Good?
You will receive emails with friendly reminders highlighting key dates as Rewards for Good ends. The Rewards for Good pages on AARP.org will also be updated to reflect this information as well.

What will happen to my AARP.org account when Rewards for Good ends?
Your AARP.org account will not change after Rewards for Good ends. However, you will no longer earn points, until you opt into the new AARP Rewards program.

How many of these can you buy to put towards a cruise purchase?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Cindy! It looks like this has a purchase limit of 2 per person. Hope that helps!

    • Evan

They offer this deal fairly often & the GCs don’t expire so if you get 2 this time you can get 2 more the next. I did that last year & ended up with 6 which we applied towards our final payment & for ship expenses. We actually had $40 left that we didn’t use & they sent us a gift card which we plan to use this year.

I get the message that this is no longer available 🙁
I bought some in the past. I don’t know what is wrong.

    • Cassandra (Hip Sidekick)

So odd. I am still seeing this gift card offer as available. Are you able to try in another browser? Hoping that helps!
