Does anyone know if you can use that pressure cooker for canning? I’ve never canned before, and I’ve seen all the “canning” pressure pots are fairly pricey…just trying to find a cheaper alternative to see if it’s something I want to do long term 🙂 thanks!
I believe you’d need a much bigger pressure cooker in order to can. The only other option would be to can using half-pint jars which, unless your family is very small or you are making something like relish, would probably be cost-prohibitive. I hope this helps.

Probably a silly question but could the soup pot with strainer be used for making clams and seafood? I got a nice set of Caphalon on a deal at Macys but I was something cheap to use just for clams and crabs and things so I don’t ruin the good pans 🙂
