I’ve seen them as well for roughly the same prices, but I’ll gladly pay $5 shipping to have clean make up people haven’t opened and put their hands all over them.

They’re not counterfeit or opened. Find a nice clean one in clearance. They’re all the same as what is sent to you without the price jack.
I’d like to agree with you, but I’ve seen way too many news stories, documentaries, talk show and beauty magazine clips that show it’s happened many times. That doesn’t even take into the multitude of other sources you can find online. (I try to not count on much in the internet unless I know its coming from a well known reputable source) In addition these stores are known for selling makeup that’s close to expiration. So there’s that. I’m not dissing anyone that buys from these stores, I just value my eyes, skin and money in a different way. To each their own. I’m all about saving money where it makes sense!
Jenn, I’m sorry you have been so fear mongered into thinking there’s hospitals full of people who bought their makeup at Marshalls. They are discontinued products. Marshalls does NOT sell counterfeits. Go ahead and blow your money from the website but it is the same thing.
Lol jenn you also must have missed the news stories about the fact that “discount stores” offer exactly that – discounts. The products company will send items to discount store to drum up business or a following. I bought a new unused smashbox primer for $7. Score in my book but chances of ever finding that one again is prob slim to none. But SB knows if i loved it i will seek it out (which i would) from their site or ulta or etc.. There is more news out their than bad negative news. But if people dont buy SB for the original price they would not discount it so im happy you choose to spend your money “wisely” because in the long run YOU save me money!!

All I’m saying is that the people at my marshalls and tjmaxx store are gross and try on the products in-store or swatch them on their hands, either way that’s now dirty and tainted product. If yall don’t get products opened in your stores by customers that’s fine, but most of our stores seem to have a problem with opened merchandise. I may not go to the hospital for dirty makeup, but it doesnt make it any less gross.
I was at both those places today. There was a lot open. But a lot that weren’t. So in my opinion I’d buy the unopened ones lol. But it was a mess.
