Cheryl's Apple Cut-Out Cookies

This cookie sampler pack includes six buttercream frosted apple cut-out cookies. And, since each cookie is individually wrapped, they are perfect for birthday parties, quick snacks and more!

These cookies also freeze well so they’re a great addition to care packages for college students!

See what our readers have to say about these yummy samplers…

I tried the $4.99 sampler box a couple of months ago and to my surprise, I ended up liking these cookies! I thought since it was coming through the mail, the cookies would be hard and stale, but they were soft and buttery!!! Yay!

For any new college freshman parents… I just sent my daughter one at University to be a little surprise. Just a little package from “home” and to let her know we’re thinking of her. Can’t beat $9.99 for 6 Cheryl’s Cookies and free shipping.

I buy a 36-count box a couple of times a year and put them in the freezer as soon as I get them. I think that they taste just as good after being in the freezer for a few months.

They are also delicious when they’re still frozen (they don’t get that hard), but they do thaw quickly. I love these cookies!!

Hmm, $1.70 per sugar cookie is not hip 2 save.

    • Betty

      Then don’t buy them 🤷🏼‍♀️

    • Ann

Right. Not a deal, those reward codes aren’t worth anything..

If you want buttercream cookies, go buy them. If you’re looking for cute, individually wrapped treats, these are awesome. I have 6 student advisees and purchased a deal like this last year around Valentine’s Day. For $10, I had cute and cheap treats for my group of students. YMMV.

      • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Sounds like it worked out really well for you, Dylan! Thanks for the comment!

I think $10 shipped is a great deal to send a fun treat to someone! That someone may or may not be myself. lol These cutout cookies are my favorite!

I think this is super cute for a gift! I ordered the fall cookie sampler and we LOVED it! They are so yummy and it’s so nice how the cookies come individually packaged. I will be ordering this one too! 🙂

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I’m a big fan of these, too! Thanks for letting us know what you think, Liz!

  3. Christina

To send treats across the country to my nieces starting school, it’s a deal. Not to mention I traded someone $6 amazon for $10 Cheryl’s. So 6.84 for me!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

The kids do really love getting them, Christina! I bet your nieces will be happy1

I bought these and got them delivered- i was very dissapointed. They were broken and frosting somewhat melted and sloppy. I did contact customer service and they are replacing them with a different mix. I was going to gift them to my sons different teachers but didn’t think the quality was good enough for give as a gift. Usually i love their cookies though.

    • Cassandra (Hip Sidekick)

So sorry you didn’t have a good experience with these cookies, Carli! But we appreciate you sharing your honest feedback.

I had the same thing happen and contacted customer service. They gave me a choice of credit or to send out replacement. Very accommodating. Love Cheryls.

My Mom is in assisted living and she leaves a bag of cookies out for the many helpers that pass through her room. I’m thinking wrapped cookies might be better and I like the idea of another reader that buys a 36 pack of Cheryls a couple of times a year and freezes them. That combined with Sam’s Club wrapped Nabisco cookies on sale now is the way I”ll go. Thanks for keeping up with all of the deals for us.

How sweet! You’re so welcome! ❤️

Just sent some to my daughter who went away for her first year in college. Well, our dog sent them (LOL) as a treat from him to her. He misses her a lot!
