These fans are quite for about a month. We’ve had 2 or 3 over the years and it never fails they start to rattle loudly on the table. My husband is adjusting it every night sometimes multiple times a night to get it to stop. It sits on a cloth and still rattles.

Put a piece of yoga mat under it. You can get one from $5 and below. I cut up and use them beneath a lot of things. Great cushion and non-slip.

I’ve found when a fan starts to rattle it just needs a little TLC. They are a simple machine and can easily be cleaned and lubricated. My oldest fan is 15 years old and is used daily to keep air circulating in my basement.
We’ve had ours for about 2 years and use it every night. It stays put and we’ve heard no noises coming from it. Contemplating getting another. Thanks.

Love these fans! We have had a few for a many years and never had a problem with them. Two of my kids each use one and I sleep with one running for white noise and air circulation.

This is a great fan. We live in Hawaii and love being able to move it around the house. We’ve had two for a few years, and both continue to work perfectly.
I’ve had two, first one worked fine it was white, bought a second one a few years ago this same black one and it does rattle quite a bit. I have to adjust it often, it is something inside, maybe the fan blands are moving back and forth a bit. Sitting it on a soft surface doesn’t help.
