I absolutely love this processor!! It’s a must for healthy living! My current favorite thing to do is put two cups of peanut butter and a cup or so of maple syrup in to make cookies. My blenders and other kitchen things never mix that thick of a batter well, but my two-ingredient peanut butter cookies come out perfect every time with this!!
I got this for Mother’s Day a few years ago and love it! It’s the model rated highly by America’s Test Kitchen. I’m happy that I asked for this over a blender because I think it’s more versatile & gets lots more use than a blender would in our house.
I highly recommend this brand. I purchased a similar Cuisinart Food processor in 1992. I have used this machine every week since I got it. I have never had a problem. It has been making my life easier, from salsas, sauces, soups, grating, chopping, grinding, kneading, mixing, mincing, etc., etc., etc. I could never be a great cook without it!

Ahhhhhh!! I got a 2nd hand one at a higher price than this. I love it though. Highly recommend this model. Sturdy and sharp. I’m hoping that i will be using it for decades. If you are wanting a food processor, don’t wait, get it!
I agree. I had it in my cart on Amazon for nearly 2 years before I pulled the trigger on Prime Day. It’s still novel to me, so every time I use it, I make my husband come into the kitchen to admire my beautiful, evenly chopped vegetables 😂
What is the container made from? Is it thick, durable? The past few food processors I have had the container has cracked.
I have this – the container is plastic (unfortunately, I’ve never seen a food processor with glass), but is thick and sturdy. I know it says you can in the manual, but I don’t put mine through the dishwasher. I figure that kind of heat causing expansion and contraction probably helps weaken the plastic.
I have this and I love it! They ship it in the original box if you don’t specify that you want it in an amazon box on the checkout page. Something to think about if you’re giving it as a gift…and mine was left on the porch in the rain and the water went right through the box 🙁 It is an awesome food processor though…just opt for the box if you’re expecting rain or don’t want a shipping label right on it.

Just ordered this. Missed it on prime day. It’s compatible w my Cuisinart food processor of 22 years so I can use all of my slicing/shredding discs I purchased before.
