Prepaid Haircut Cards Just $9.99 at Great Clips | Stocking Stuffer Idea
This would make a FUN stocking stuffer!
For a limited time and while supplies last, head on in to your local Great Clips where they are offering these Great Card Prepaid Haircut Cards for as low as $9.99 – valid in-store only!
Note that you will not see this offer advertised online, but we chatted with multiple Great Clips locations and most appear to be participating. Be sure to call your nearest store before heading out to assure they are in fact participating.
HIP TIP: Head here to find a Great Clips location near you!
These prepaid haircuts will be added to a nonrefundable card that you or your gift recipient can use at a Great Clips location. The best part is that the card does not have an expiration date! Please note that the cost per haircut may vary by location, and although there is no limit stated, select locations may put limits on how many you can purchase at once. Keep in mind that you cannot tip your stylist using this prepaid card (you will have to tip separately).

That’s awesome! My 4 year old gets his haircut there, and their frequent cuts for boys add up quickly! Is there a limit on how many you can buy or how many each customer can use (I know my son has an “account” there, so to speak, so I’m hoping they don’t set a limit). Thank you!
And I’m now just seeing I skimmed over that their might be a limit to how many you can buy. I’m sorry.
No worries! Thanks for the update!
I called my local one and they said 10 haircuts can be loaded per card.
So I don’t need to buy 10 physical cards, I can just buy one and load it with 10 9.99 haircuts? I thought the card itself with just worth a 9.99 haircut, and then I would buy 10 cards?
Correct, one card and you load multiple haircuts.
I do this for myself every year. I hated having to make apps with my hair dresser. I love that u can check in online and walk in. I can walk to my location.
How cool! Thanks for sharing your experience, Laurie!
Just making sure this is correct. So if I buy these cards I am only paying $9.99 for a haircut. or is this like a giftcard I still have to pay the difference?
Yes! That’s correct! Just $9.99, which is awesome since these haircuts are regularly around $14.99.
My location is saying they are $10.99. Are they supposed to be $9.99?
Thanks for the feedback, Kristin. The cost can vary a bit by location.
Locations I have checked are 10.99, haircuts are priced $14.99 so you save $4
Our location was $10.99 too. Still better than regular price at least!
Each location has different pricing of the cuts for the prepaid card ranging from 9.99-14.99.
Also good for donation.
Oh yes! Love that idea! Thanks for the suggestion!
Do you recharge these or what?
When I bought one a couple years ago, I wasn’t able to reload it. I don’t know if that’s still the case.
Locations around me are $10.99 and you had to buy at least 6
Our location is $10.99 too, but the savings still add up. We buy these every year and my husband and two sons use them all year. Stores only get a limited number and some sell out.
$13.99 at the locations I checked today. (So I only save $1) Must load a min. of 6 and a max of 10. One card per phone number.
I’m able to tip using mine. I just tell the stylist how much I want and they add it onto the $9.99 total.
I just get the regular gift card. That way if haircuts are $7.99 that week, the recipient can get their hair cut at the better price and not get locked in to a higher price.
Our location is 10.99 ( which is saving as haircut is 18.00) and maximum 5 haircuts could be loaded.
I walked in locally… only to be told I could ONLY purchase if I loaded 5-10 hair cuts on EACH card. I was going to buy 10- but have 4 physical cards for gifts. I was not even permitted to purchase a single prepaid hair cut. But nothing indicated in store or on the cards. Supposedly management decided they would sell out of these cards if they didn’t require 5 on EACH card. Guess I’ll go somewhere else
What a terrible experience! I’m so sorry, Tricia Blomquist!
My store will also take coupons for haircuts from ANY other store !! Great way to save money ! Thanks Great Clips !
In Seattle, the cards were $16.99 in November 2019. A regular haircut here costs $21.00 at Great Clips. We drove 24 miles to a neighboring town and bought enough cards for three years at $12.99. The prices really do vary! I called ahead and asked each location within easy driving distance. Some locations limit the amount of cards you can buy…others do not. You can use the cards at any location.
I would like to know when the offer ends in the Kansas City area.
Hi there! It seems this is an old post with an older offer. You could always call in to your location to see if they have a similar offer. Hoping that helps!
Can I reload my near empty great card?
