Thanks! I was waiting on great deal for these! Wanted these to slip on to let the dog in and out and bus stop, couldn’t justify at regular price!
Agreed! But this price is perfect.
Oh perfect! SO glad you can score them on the cheap, Stacey! You’re very welcome!
I was just wondering what to get my mom for Christmas! These are perfect for her walking her dog. They will be easy to slip in and out of plus a some of the reviews said that they have good traction. Thank you so much!
Yay! You’re most welcome! Hope she loves them!
I scored a pair, thanks for sharing! I’m having a hard time making purchases on things I need before Black Friday but this feels like a deal I will still be happy about next week=)
Woohoo! Super happy you could snag them! You’re very welcome!
I’ve had the Patty loafers for a couple years now. I was able to get them for 14.99 at that time. I bought me and my SIL a pair. I LOVE them and wear them even when it’s not wet out. Comfy and look good. Lots of compliments. I’d definitely buy them at 19.99 too. Great deal.
Reviews are a little sketchy. Does anyone have this exact brand & care to share?
(Meant for taller boots)
Hi S!
I have the Original Duck Ariel boots. I got them for $15 so I decided to try them. Although they are very cute, they have zero traction and the soles are rock hard! Very slippery, not for icy conditions! They are ok as far as comfort and I love the easy on/off. I would buy them again for that price. HTH!
Thanks for your input! I’m super clumsy and need very flat shoes with great traction. I’ll pass on these.
I found these boots extremely uncomfortable. I bought and tried 2 sizes because the first was so uncomfortable but the second was the same. Very hard and unforgiving. It rubbed the skin off my lower ankle to the point where it almost bleed after 30 minutes of wear. Buy Sperry on sale when those boots are $60-80.
Had the same problem Sarah. Tried two different sizes and found both very hard and uncomfortable. Was soooo disappointed because I really wanted these to work out and it’s a fantastic price.
I have the boots and they have zero traction ! Please don’t buy these for an elderly person. I won’t dare wear these when it rains which seems silly because that’s what they’re supposed to be for. Cheap price but still not worth it👎
I ordered two pair then I canceled the order. Too many reviews of people saying they hurt their feet. I guess I’ll stick with Sperry brand.
I heard yesterday that Macy,s online got hacked. And a lot of info was stolen from people shopping online.
It is such a common thing now… You can’t even get gas without it happening. It is a good thing the card company’s give you your money back for unauthorized purchases.
Last year someone hacked my Macy’s store credit card, maxed it out, then hacked the new card I received, without me ever using the new card online or in store. Same exact thing happened with my Victoria’s Secret credit card at the same exact time. The person(s) were able to ask for an account lookup in store without having to show their ID and use that to make the purchases. The person I spoke to from the Victoria’s Secret fraud department suggested I request with each retailer that they ask for my ID and also a 4 digit code (that I chose) before authorizing any purchases with my store card. Even though I’ve had new cards issued for both stores I won’t ever use them again. Too many trust issues for me now. As for these boots, I did buy them in store yesterday, just not with my store card. They are definitely not the same quality as the $120 Sperrys they were sitting next to, but for $20 they’ll work for a fall weather transition boot before I have to get my snow boots out.
I bought a pair of the Duck Boots last year and I love them. I don’t live where it gets really icy. I just bought another pair for my mother.
Thanks for giving your review, susan!
My Sperry’s have very little traction and are very slippery as well. Comfortable, yes, but still require a hand or 2 to pull on (my hands are always full with a physically disabled 7 year old, so this does matter!) Anyone have any luck with slip on’s that do have traction?
I went yesterday to look at these because of the odd reviews. My usual size was definitely too small, a half size larger wasn’t comfortable, and a whole size larger felt much too large. Beyond that, the pleather part looked really cheap, and they just weren’t cute in person.
My mom wore a similar pair when I was a kid…she wore them everywhere in a pinch & loved them. She was so sad when they became too uncomfortable/worn/stinky & needed to be thrown away. Very excited to give her this as a Christmas gift…a true blast from the past!
Awwww, how fun!
