If you can avoid LG do it!! We purchased a 1500$ LG and it went out after just 3 months and they required a repair service instead of replacing it. Then slowly all of our new LG appliances started to go out. The repair man said that LG and Samsung are some of the worst appliances you can own and many repair services will no longer partner with LG because they have such complex systems. LG customer service is a huge joke. Also, LG is horrible at supporting new apps for streaming and does not support hulu. We had to get a roku just so we could log in to our hulu and disney + accounts. Our LG is a newer 4k smart TV too.

That is true AJ. I had LG G4 and it went bad in three months, it had a software bug and they had a horrible support. First of all its too hard to get hold of customer service, no one I spoke new English. I was so frustrated, it took me almost 3 months to resolve the issue and I was without phone for that amount of time and I still had to pay almost $400/- in repairs and shipping. Never going to buy any LG product.
I have an LG tv and it us the best tv I have ever had. It is 3 years old.

We have 2 LG TVs going on 8 and 10 years without a single issue. I feel you can get better deals right now on TVs though than this.
