This class action settlement is back in the news!

Back in April, we shared the news of this Audible Class Action Settlement. If you used Audible services from March 10th, 2013 through August 17th, 2018, OR if you were gifted an Audible membership between August 11th, 2011 through August 17th, 2018, you may be eligible to receive free Audible audiobook credits as part of the settlement.

Now, eligible class members are starting to receive emails from Audible indicating how many free titles they’re eligible to select from the catalog as part of the settlement. Instructions for redemption are also included.

email from Audible class action settlement

Check your email for a message from Audible with the subject line, “Audiobook selection instructions.”  If you believe that you should have received one of these emails and you didn’t get one yet, try checking your spam folder to see if it was mis-delivered.

After applying each redemption code to your account, you’ll be able to view a selection of recommended and featured titles. For more information about this settlement, please see the FAQ page on Audible’s website.

Thank you, I forgot about this and would have missed it, but there it was – two freebies!

Can someone tell me what the email title is? I have the 2 December freebie downloads but nothing else

Does anyone know what to do if I didn’t get an email? I cancelled my account and didn’t know I’d lose my credits and even emailed them to ask but never got a response. I also have a record of the email.

Advice ladies, do not click the link till you are ready to pick a book! I accidentally “x’d” out of the browser I was in. When I went back to my email, clicked on the link again it said “already redeemed” or something like that.

You can still use it for a year – it’s just saved in your account – if you go to the selection of audiobooks they will say “free”

Hi, guys, please explain to me: why do you use Audible services instead of free audiobooks from the public libraries? What are the benefits? Thanks!

I use Overdrive and have Audible. I use Audible, because Overdrive doesn’t have as many as Audible does. I always check to see if it’s available on Overdrive before buying one on Audible.
