This was easy to put together and our dog loved being in it when we were gone. She goes in it by herself when she wants to take a nap.
Exactly as expected. Keeps my tiny dog perfectly safe & confined. I purchased the medium size. Perfect for a small dog, water and/or food and potty pad.
We used the Zampa pet pen during a move from the Pacific Northwest to New Mexico. With five cats. The pen proved easy to deploy and repack, once the fold order was discovered (there’s a video on the company website for this). Feeding, watering and cleaning up after the cats proved simple and easy. I’d recommend this to anyone needing to contain 1 or more small pets on a long trip, it’s just too useful.
We’ve been using this for our 12 week old Boston Terrier for training and when we can’t pay 100% attention to his whereabouts. It’s easy to pick up and move room to room. Accidents are easy to clean. We feel it keeps him safe and so far has been durable. Great product for the money.

Has anyone used this for a large dog?
Thinking he might like it for sleeping
I have a large dog and cant imagine him liking that. The little dog almost comes to the roof. My dog sleeps in his crate unlocked with a 6″ orthopedic dog bed. Yes they like their “dens” but this isn’t designed to allow large dogs to stand up, a crate is. Just my thoughts
I have one of these and like it very much. That being said, I have a 5 lb Chihuahua. You DO NOT want this for a big dog. I use it when we travel over night with the dog to give her a spot to stay out of trouble. It’s roomy enough for her to have a bed, toys etc….It folds up nice and small and is easily packed up. The only issue is, as tiny as she is, she can and has tipped the entire thing over. A big dog with even a little bit of energy would probably tip the entire thing on its side very quickly.
I bought a similar one and it tore up after a few months. My pup could also turn it on it’s side. She’s a Mini Schnauzer so not a big puppy. Served it’s purpose I guess.
I have this play tent for our cats. They love it.( But..I bought it on eBay for around 15.00). If you don’t mind waiting for it to arrive, I’d highly recommend it for cat lovers😺

I bought a similar one for $30 on Amazon. I’ve had it 2 weeks now. I have a 15 pound, 16 year old, small pug/boston/jack mix. Because of his cataracts I have to kennel him at night and while gone for his safety. He also cannot hold his bladder for long periods of time. This thing has been a game changer for us. He sleeps through the night now, and so do I (YAY!). We had a metal kennel with the removable floor tray that he was up all night in and it was so expensive. I keep the entry screen rolled up while I’m at home and he loves to sleep in there. I keep a potty pad and small bed in there and a potty pad underneath. If there is a mess, I usually just have to throw away the potty pad(s). Once in a while he pees off the pad and I just throw the whole thing in the tub, wipe it down, give it a good spray down and it dries quickly. I can only vouch for a small senior dog who doesn’t party too hard while he’s in there 🙂
I had one of these for five years. It worked as a crate and “safe space” for my last dog — but she did learn how to unzip it by scratching at the zipper! You may want to secure the double zip if you have a smart dog.
