Hostess Just Released Iced Lemon Cupcakes | Fun for Spring
Watch for these lemony treats to appear at a grocer near you!
Hostess is launching a new limited-edition cupcake flavor, and it’s going to be perfect for spring! The brand’s new Iced Lemon Cupcakes feature spongy lemon cake stuffed with creamy lemon filling. They’re topped with yellow frosting and the famous white Hostess icing swirl.
Although limited-edition Hostess cupcakes are usually found fairly easily at national retailers such as Walmart, the Iced Lemon Cupcakes have only been spotted at regional grocers like Jewel-Osco so far.
We were able to find them at an Ingles Market, where they were priced at $2.98 for a box of eight individually-wrapped cakes.
A friend posted about these on FB. I’ve been on the hunt ever since!!! Still looking….
Hope you find them, Lynn!
I bought the lemon and the mint at the 99 cent store last night
How nice! Thanks for stopping by, vallimoore!
Found the them at Kroger
Yay! Glad you spotted them, Christine!
Nowhere to be seen in Dallas Texas!!! I’ve looked everywhere. Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons and Tom Thumb.
Big lots has them in Austin TX.
I love these cupcakes they can be found at Sam’s club sharing the box with the original chocolate ones. The only thing that hostess could do wrong is remove these iced lemon cupcakes off the shelf. The taste is spot on with the lemon zest not too overpowering with just the right among of sweetness. I can’t get enough of these iced lemon cupcakes. They run neck and neck with the orange flavored cupcakes. Hostess should keep these on the shelves. I know I’m not alone.
