This was a gift for my wife. Just taking it out of the box, it looks beautiful. It has a sporty and elegant look at the same time. She is not too technical, but this watch is very easy to use and understand. The battery lasts all day ans it has all the features as described and more… super very happy with this watch!

Can anyone compare this to the Fitbit charge 3, my fitbit broke and the band connecting point after only a year of having it. Fitbit could do nothing, I missed a fix/replacement point by a few weeks😢😭🙁😞

The Active 2 will connect for texts and calls but I’m not sure about the Active. You can compare on the Samsung page if that helps.
i have active watch… no sound except when connected to a bluetooth device. so u can message..and accept a call. but u cant actually talk or hear from the watch. also i could only get mine to work with strava or samsung health for fitness tracking. u can store songs or use spotify but the watcg is pretty limited..
I have an active 2 and it’s amazing! After years of several different fitbits (all of which broke) the active watch is unstoppable! It connects to all the important apps I want and automatically detects workouts. I find myself leaving my phone on the counter because the active watch does what I need. 🙂
I also have the Active 2 and love it. I can make calls and answer texts by voice or typing. It links well with my phone. I agree with everything Shelby said. Bonus – Amazon has fun and inexpensive bands if you want to change the look of the watch.
