Street Taco Kits Available at Costco
Taco night has never been easier!
If you’re heading into Costco soon to grab essential items, stop by the prepared foods section and be on the lookout for these Chicken Street Taco Kits available for around $5.59 per pound!
These kits typically weigh 2.5-3 pounds with an average price of $15-$16.
Each kit has everything you need for Taco Night in one pack with enough ingredients to make 12 tacos including tortillas, seasoned pre-cooked grilled chicken, shredded cheese, vegetables, cilantro lime cream, salsa, and lime wedges. All you have to do is heat up the chicken and dinner will be ready in no time!
Readers had rave reviews about these kits last year:
Found these and we gobbled them up! So good! There was plenty of meat for my family of 3 teen boys, 8 yr old daughter & hubby & I. We did need more tortillas and cheese but we already had those on hand.
These were amazing. Family of 5 and fed us very well and very fresh and tasty.
These were really good. I usually don’t like “pre-seasoned” meats, but these had a great flavor. My husband loved the crema. I thought it was a great price too for the amount of food and little effort!
Anyone know if the lasagna, alfredo bakes and large pot pies from costco can be frozen and heated up in the oven? I hate going out now, I have 6 kids. It’s hard to keep my house stocked without a pandemic. I just spent $537 at costco and got 2 weeks worth of food for 8 people. We don’t get our weekly dine out meal anymore. So just looking for other options. Let me know if anyone has had luck freezing these.
Costco has an already frozen lasagna, would that work for your family? Not sure how old your kids are but you would probably need two pans. I have four but the oldest three are 20, 18, and 13 and eat a lot. I can get away with one pan if I add garlic bread and salad.
Not sure about the alfredo. My own chicken pies freeze great. I wouldn’t see how Costco’s would be any different. Good luck!
Kirkland frozen lasagna is really good! And very reasonably priced for 2 trays.
We’ve done that with the mac n cheese and alfredo. They’ve turned out just fine, though we did move them into freezer safe tupperware before freezing. Hope this helps!
Most of the food in the deli is prepared fresh, as apposed to being frozen and then thawed and then sold. So I would think from a food safety stand point it would be fine to freeze them and cook them later. I would probably not keep them for much longer than a month or so because frozen noodles and frozen pie crust can get weird if kept too long. Hope that helps.
Betty! Iโm going to stop complaining about cooking for my family of 3. I canโt imagine cooking for six children! You go girl!! ๐คโค๏ธ
They sell these at my local Harris Teeter. I picked one up this week on sale for 6.99 and my son loved it. It was good
The best prepackaged dinner at Costco! Highly recommend it!!!
Thanks for the recommendation, Abbie!
These are AMAZING… my family loves them!!
SO glad to hear they have been a hit! Thanks for sharing!
Betty, the frozen lasagna at our Costco comes in a large package and there’s another which has two smaller packages. The smaller one works for my 3 boys who are 15, 13 and 9.
We also get the Alfred casserole which is great for the days when there’s no time after work.
The street taco kits are great. Recently they increased the small tortillas to 12 which is great since 9 were not enough for the boys.
Had this for dinner tonight. We love it. The creama sauce is awesome! This is one of our favs. Also bought the stir fry chicken teriyaki with rice to try for tomorrow night. ๐๐ป
YUM! Thanks for the feedback, Mitch! SO happy everyone enjoyed it!
These are a crowd pleaser at my house!

I have not seen the taco meal kit, but have you guys tried beef bulgogi at Costco? Oh, so good! $20 for a tray, and it’s a lot. I just add green onions, been sprouts, snap peas or even brocolli, with rice. Yummy!
Thanks for the suggestion, Riss!
They sell the yummy crema sauce in 2 pack bottles at Costco too! We bought the taco kit and loved it, but theyโre definitely pricey to buy very often. We bought their crema sauce and have recreated them at home many times since. So good!
Every one is different. I thought the taco kit was just ok. I wouldn’t buy it again for the price, but if it was at a party or something, I would eat it.
