Any good deals in sets of pyrex storage?
Macy’s does have a few sets on sale for some decent prices but they are not the lowest we’ve seen. IE the 22-piece set has been as low as $17.99 (during Black Friday sales) and it’s $29.99 shipped right now – still best price you can get right now. Target also has a sale price on this 18-piece set. Plus, you can save 5% with RedCard and if you wait until Wednesday you can add it to your $50 pick-up order and you’ll save an extra $10!

These make great gifts for grads.
I love these bowls. I had a Pyrex bowl like this, different design, explode in my microwave this weekend. One hamburger in it for one minute. Has anyone ever had this happen? No lid on it, and a fairly new bowl into lots of pieces. It was crazy!
Oh wow, that’s crazy! I know they use Soda-Lime glass these days instead of the good old borosilicate glass which is more resiliant to thermal shock. Now, that original Pyrex borosilicate glass is only available in Europe or for resale here in US.
Unless the glass was still cold and the grease got too hot, that shouldn’t happen.
