Thanks for posting. I know several people in the Medical field. I’ll pass this on. I own two pairs of Tieks and can vouch for how comfortable they are. I walked around all day and night at Disney Springs in them and they were very comfy! They hold up very well also. *There are vegan-leather shoe options as well.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

How cool! You’re welcome, Jen! Glad you can pass this along.

    • riss

I had ballet flats before and my toes just kept sliding/digging on to the the toebox, i ended up curling my toes when walking. Is this not the case for you? I read a lot of reviews that these are very comfy and worth the splurge, but I would hate to spend $75 of I won’t be able to use them.

      • Jen

These are very high quality Italian leather shoes. They will stretch out a bit. You need to “break them in” before walking a lot. I never had that problem that you mentioned (sliding/digging into the toebox). I honestly feel like I’m walking bearfoot or wearing a slipper. I wouldn’t have bought a second pair if they were uncomfortable in anyway. Love my shoes!!

        • riss

Thank you for your input 🙂

      • micki

I had totally given up on ballet flats before some friends talked me into trying Tieks. I would suggest finding some Tieks Facebook groups and people will help with sizing questions. I love my Tieks!

        • Ashley

The best tieks page is tieks Anonymous. They can point you in the right direction for sizing and care for the shoes

          • riss

Thanks for the suggestion, micki and Ashley 🙂

  2. Jamie

I tried to go thru the motions to get verified, I’ll see if it happens. Cheapest shoe they offer, would be 75 dollars post discount, that’s a lot to pay for flats. Appreciate their gesture just the same.

  3. Sarah C

This is great! Just wish they’d do this for teachers too…these are a teacher’s dream shoe 😊

    • Dirtcheapteach

      Right

    • Momx1boy3girls

I have a code you can have. I won’t use it.

      • Nicole

Hi – if you still have it and will not be using it I would love the code I just found out I am pregnant and could def use a pair of comfy flats! Email is nicolereed179 at gmail.com

        • Momx1boy3girls

          Sent. And congrats!

  4. Jenna

I was able to snag a pair for $75! I’ve wanted some forever but would have never paid full price. Thank you for sharing!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Yay! You’re welcome, Jenna!

    • raedee

Me, too! I have been stalking their site for two years – I call them next-level Rothy’s lol

  5. Lisa W

Just ordered, thank you so much for sharing!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You are SO welcome!

  6. Sandy

Do most companies require ID (passport, DL, SSN)? I’m not sure I’m willing to give up that info for $100. But I would love to get a pair of these shoes.

    • Bethany

Yes. iD.me is used by some companies to verify military and/or other statuses. Others use sheerid.

I know it seems a bit much but it’s a way to verify you.

    • Melissa

All I had to do was type in my RN license number which is public record info anyway 🤷🏼‍♀️

  7. Kristen

Just grabbed them in Poppy! What an awesome gift to nurses during this time. My feet could use the extra cushion and comfort. $75 is a steal for these, thanks H2S!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome, Kristen!

  8. Kitty

This is awesome! I’ve been wanting to try. Now I just have to pick a color…

  9. icy-birdie

Hi! Are these true to size? I am between a size 6.5 and 7. Thanks

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! Be sure to click on “sizing” on the product page. There they list more details on fit, as well as a size chart link. Hope this helps!

    • Jen

I wear between an 8.5 and a 9. I sized up because I have wide feet. If your feet are normal or narrow then perhaps try your smaller size because in time they will stretch a tiny bit.

    • michelledonker

I’m a 6.5 and can wear 6 and 7 in Tieks. I prefer 7, though because it gives more room if I decide to use an insert.

    • Alana (Hip Sidekick)

They also offer free exchanges as long as they are not worn outside.

  10. Evelyn FOSTER

Just the cheapest ones I could find after the discount was 35.00 right now that is a lot of money for us. Thank you for the post

    • Bnunley

Are you going to use your code? I am a teacher and I’d love to be able to get a pair of these! If you decide not to use your code I’d love to have it! Brenano@hotmail.com

      • Kris

Just emailed you a code 🙂

        • Bnunley

          Thank you so much!!

  11. Juliet

How long does it take to get the code

    • Jcwell

      Instantly

  12. Rn404

Thank you….was able to get a pair for $75

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re so welcome!

  13. DeeC

Seems a little expensive for shoes

  14. Mblade

I am temporarily an emergency response worker doing contact tracing for the county. And I normally work for the county’s hospital. Yet I am not able to access any savings via ID me because I do not have a License number. Although I fit into the category, I’ve been emailing IDme and they don’t respond. So only licensed professionals are getting the benefit from these first responder benefits. They are leaving out the majority of health care workers who need the discounts more than the licensed professionals who make a lot. What about the appointment checkers, technicians without license, other hospital employees? social workers for the homeless? And yes even the grocery store clerks. All these people need the $10 discount from their phone bill than someone making over 100k. This is in no way meant to take away from what nurses and doctors do. Just to point out flaws in the system.

    • kimberlybeesehaight

Not all doctors are making 100k. After malpractice, student loan debt and overhead my husband brings home quite a bit less than that. Surely it depends on the area but he has had to pay every dime of his education and insurance reimbursements have been cut considerably leaving him with more write offs and less pay

      • K

        Agreed

      • Amy Abel-Matkins

If anyone isn’t going to use their code, I’d love it. Been wanting to get a pair forever, but it just isn’t in the budget. Thanks so much!! Abelamy9@gmail.com

    • Kelley

I understand what you mean. I work in a school clinic but am considered an aide even though I am the only one in my school. I can not get health care or teacher discounts for anything, my school no longer provides id’s either which I used to be able to use at some stores.

    • acgold

My sister is a physical therapist, she does home care and hospital work. There is no category for her on ID.me either.

      • jessicazbikowski

I’m at PT and I was verified. I just needed my NPI number. I selected medial professional.

  15. MichelleH

    Got em! That’s awesome

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      🙌

  16. smorgan816

How long did it take to receive code? I was already verified with ID me but no code was given.

    • kimberlybeesehaight

It took me about an hour to get my code – I had been previously verified!

    • riss

I got mine in right away, and I also have been previously verified.

  17. Josie

does anyone know if you can give your code to someone else?

    • kimberlybeesehaight

In the terms it says: E-Gift Cards distributed as part of this offer may not be transferred

  18. Srs79

There is no option for medical assistants when signing up for id.me so I sent an email to ask why and if I could still sign up another way. I dunno. Thought I’d try.

  19. isabel san miguel

It says also military service members qualify. Is that for the ones currently on active duty?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I know active duty and retired qualify.

    • Wendy Jabkowski

I know it’s a long shot, but if someone has a code they decide not to use…I would super appreciate it! Stay-at-home mom of 4 on a budget!

    • krystle

      Yes that’s an option

  20. Monica Utley

I look forward to hearing from you! This is awesome for healthcare workers

  21. megannt

This is awesome! I work in primary care and since I don’t have a license I can’t get a code. Thanks for posting though!

    • Laura Meyer

I am a Radiologic Technologist and I do not have an NPI. So I’m out too

  22. stephanietaylor

Any one in law enforcement? How long did it take? It’s currently been two hours

    • Alana (Hip Sidekick)

My in-law was previously verified in ID Me and is in law enforcement. Right after she logged in, her code popped up.

    • Ashley

My husband is a Leo and we were able to get our code instantly. He immediately called to ask me what pair I wanted next 💜

      • stephanietaylor

I still haven’t received my code

    • krystle

      Mine generated immediately

  23. riversidecjoe

Was quick. Within a couple of minutes code was sent to my email

  24. Carrie Mae

If anyone isnt going to use their code, I would definitely use it and would really appreciate it! My email is eyedoctor0000 at gmail.com. Thanks in advance!!

  25. spandana pullela

if anyone one not using their code, i would greatly appreciate if they could kindly share it.
    Thank you in advance,

  26. agh925

I’ve wanted a pair of these for YEARS but couldn’t justify the $200! Grabbed a pair of metallic bronze for $95. Yay!!!! IM SO EXCITED!!!

    • CandiceEE

I have too! I grabbed the aqua ones! Thanks for sharing!

  27. Lop3z001

I would love these but teachers don’t qualify. Is anyone not going to use their code?

    • Lop3z001

If anyone won’t use their code please email rom_lpz at att dot net

  28. Mary

Does the code come to your email?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      Yes!

  29. Katie

If anyone has a code they won’t use I would greatly appreciate it. I work in occupational therapy and been working extra due to covid 19 but they don’t include me in any of the discounts for healthcare workers. I have lower back issues and heals kill me, would love to try a decent pair of flats. My email is momma25 at yahoo. Thank you!

    • Stephanie

I am a dietitian and work at a hospital. There was an option for hospital employee (or something like that). You just have to take a picture of your work ID. I was able to get the discount. Once I got the email that I was verified I had to log back onto the ID website to get the code.

    • krystle

Just an FYI , I have several pair, and have feet problems and would not recommend these for comfort … 😂 they are super cute though. I hope you find a code and get to try a pair! ❤️

  30. Mary

Does working at a behavioral healthcare provider count? My company is not listed

    • Elaine

If you have a NPI number then yes

  31. karen

I got verified but still did not get my code😔

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Karen! Here is some information I found on how to grab the gift card if having issues –

“I haven’t received my code. What do I do next?

If you close the ID.me pop-up before your verification is complete, you will receive a confirmation email from ID.me once your verification is approved. After you receive that email from ID.me, please go back to tieks.com/frontlineheroes, click again on the “Get Verified” button, and log into your ID.me account. Once logged in, you will immediately receive your gift card code on the landing page, and Tieks will send you an email with your code at that time.”

      Hope this helps!

  32. Mary

I got the email that I am verified but do not see a code? Can anyone help?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Mary! Here are some details that may help –

“I haven’t received my code. What do I do next?

If you close the ID.me pop-up before your verification is complete, you will receive a confirmation email from ID.me once your verification is approved. 33. Kim

I wish they would do this for teachers. I have 3 pairs and I won’t wear anything else to teach in!!!

  34. stephanietaylor

Teachers have definitely been at the front lines of this as well! I’ve wanted a pair if these for as long as I can remember. I’m a preschool teacher and have 24 4/5 year olds all day every day. I’d love a code if anyone isn’t going to use theirs. Stephanietaylor12 at yahoo.com

    • Jenny Williams

I’m not going to use mine. I will email it to you.

      • stephanietaylor

Thank you! I haven’t received it yet if you’ve sent it

        • Jenny Williams

          Just resent it

    • tkw1014

I think by the “frontlines,” they mean people who have been working directly with Covid19 and risking their lives.

  35. Julie

Omg if anyone has an extra code, I could so use it!!

  36. Kelly

This children’s hospital employee right here 🙂 is super excited to try her first pair of Tieks.
    Thank you!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Woohoo! You’re welcome, Kelly! Hope you love them!

  37. SHANNON M ZIOLKOWSKI

I was verified but cannot seem to find where my code is. Anyone else having this issue?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Shannon! Here is what I found in their FAQ –

Hope this helps!

  38. Bnunley

I am a teacher and would LOVE to have a pair of these but I cannot afford the $175 regular price. If anyone gets a code and doesn’t want to use it I’d be so appreciative! Thank you!!! Brenano@hotmail.com

  39. Kim Kauffman

If anyone has a code they won’t use I am a teacher and would love a pair of these. My email is kkauffma@wilsonareasd.org

  40. Kinjal Patel

I am Grocery store worker who has to wear shoes all day to walk around store would love to get code if any one has an extra one or not using their. Thank you 🙏
    Kinjalp426@yahoo.com

  41. Jessica

I would love a code if anyone is not going to use their code. I wanted to try these forever. I will be graduating soon as a teacher.

    Savin4fun @ yahoo.com

    • Jessica

I have* wanted to try thee forever!

  42. ladysuz

I’m almost sure that teachers can take advantage, ID me also offers the discounts to teachers. go to their site and get verified.

    • Savin4fun

I checked. It is military, medical, and first responders only.

  43. Kari

I am a teacher and own a few pairs of Tieks and absolutely love them! I wear them everywhere. A few years ago we had a conference in Philadelphia and I wore them the entire time we were there! I wish they would do this for teachers too, I’d definitely take advantage of them!!

  44. Brenda

I actually own 28 pair’s of Tieks. I belong to Tieks Anonymous on Facebook. It’s a wonderful group of people who wear Tieks. I love them. This $100 gift card is also for military.
I got mine yesterday and ordered Tieks Blue. If you buy them look our group up on Facebook.

  45. Mary Ann Souder

If anyone has a code they aren’t using, I would love to get it. Teachers should have been included in this. We are on our feet all day long too. Thanks, if anyone has a code: lsf5657@verizon.net

    • Amy

teachers seem to be getting greedy. between this and the Reese Witherspoon giveaway… if you keep complaining, you won’t be getting discounts from places anymore. I doubt nurses say the same during teachers appreciation week.

      • Stef81

I doubt they do complain because nurse appreciation week and teacher appreciation week usually coincide. I am a 9th year teacher with a masters degree and make $40,000 which is actually good for teacher pay in my area. So yeah, educated professionals on their feet all day working with other people’s kids who carry all sorts of unknown germs would like a chance for some comfy shoes they couldn’t normally afford without a huge discount! Besides everyone has asked politely for codes that aren’t being used.

    • tkw1014

This is for frontline workers. Why would teachers be included? Genuinely curious.

  46. Angel

If anyone isn’t going to use their code, could you please email it to me, I would love one. I’m a hospital worker but not licensed and it’s not letting me verify. My email is angdee951@gmail.com Thank you

  47. mollie1234

For teachers or others who do not qualify for the gift card but want one, there is an option under their #sewtogether campaign to sew 25 or 50 fabric masks and get a $50 or $100 tieks gift card in return. It’s all on their website and seems like a good deal. Fabric is really cheap right now.

  48. Kylie

If anyone has an extra code I would appreciate it. I’m a HS teacher on my feet for hours. Thanks so much.
    kylied9@yahoo.com

  49. cynthiarayjenkins

I really would love a code to give to my niece who is teaching first grade this year. This will be her first pair. Thank you so much 😊 crstarj@yahoo.com

  50. Wendy Jabkowski

I know it’s a long shot, but if someone has a code they decide not to use…I would super appreciate it! Stay-at-home mom of 4 on a budget! wjabkowski at gmail dot com.
