This Nintendo Switch accessory works as a Joy-Con controller with Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! games. It also works with the Pokémon GO app, so you can walk around and search for Pokémon without looking at your smart device.
Plus, you’ll hear your caught Pokémon’s unique cry and see the Poké Ball light up and vibrate – so much fun!
Here’s why this item has a 4.5 out of 5 ⭐️ rating…
The ball is a neat thing to have! You can put a Pokémon into it and it can also be used a controller for games and also Pokémon GO. Once you have a Pokémon in the ball you can shake it or just take with you throughout the day to help level it up. FYI, the connection to the switch and Pokémon GO games is wireless/Bluetooth, so it is very easy to use. I also love that it is USB-C charged.
I use this lil’ guy all the time for Pokémon GO, and it’s really fun as a controller for Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu. Really useful and lots fun!

The pokeball is a really neat accessory and you get some cool benefits, but, be aware that you may not be able to pair it with your smartphone. My husband got me one for Christmas, and it worked great with the Samsung phone I had at the time. I could pair it with my phone, and wrack up so many pokeballs just driving to work, without touching my phone. Then it wouldn’t work. I upgraded to an LG, and it just won’t work at all, it has never paired wit the LG. Now I use my LG as a hotspot and connect my husbands old iphone, and connect the pokeball to that. It’s cool for when we go out as a family to play, but not worth the hassle for just driving to work.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience, Candace! Good to know!
