I love these containers! The tops hold really well onto the containers. We keep our stuff in them in our garage in hot Texas summers and they hold really well. I’ve slowly began switching over to these. Eventually every one of my containers will be these. I highly recommend them.

I gotta get me some of these. I shop all year long for Christmas/Bday gifts and I store all my stuff in these totes, in my shed. So thank you!

      Great idea!

    • Jj

Wish my Costco had them in stock.

I can’t wait to get these tomorrow. These will be great for when we move mid July.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

How exciting! Congrats on your upcoming move!

  3. Jillian

We actually use these to pack our cars hitch rack for vacation. Carrying/packing bins vs a million bags. So much easier!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

SWEET! Thanks for sharing that, Jillian!

Does anyone know the dimensions of these containers? I have some shelves I’d like to put them on but not sure if they will fit.

    • Amy

It does not say on the container..but they are much bigger the ones advertised in Home Depot this weekfor $7.98…I purchased some today

    • ANH

      I found the dimensions in Costco web site 30.5″L x 20.125″W x 14.25″H

      • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

        Thanks, ANH!

How are the lids? Home Depot sells similar containers (black bottom with yellow lids), that look identical to these, brand is HDX, but lids crack very easily, thin and poor quality plastics!!! Before sinking money into the Costco brand would like to know if stacking two or three boxes filled with parts (read: heavy) will break the lids.

    • Howard a wilson iv

They only crack if an adult stands in the middle.

  8. Jeff

THESE ARE VERY HEAVY DUTY. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THEN THE ONES YOU WOULD GET AT HOME DEPOT, WHICH ARE GARBAGE. GREENMADE ARE THE HIGHEST QUALITY ON THE MARKET AND ARE AS WELL “NSF” CERTIFIED.

  9. Mike

That’s great, but I drove to Portland only to find out there are zero of these bins in stock in all Costco Portland area stores. They expect to get more 7/21/20 according to their computer, if that is true

Apparently Office Depot carries this brand also at a higher price, with a “standard” and “professional” duty 27 gal versions, at a substantially higher price.

Some of the complaints I read is that 1. lids still crack and 2. labels have gaudy design and are very difficult to remove due to use of some permanent glue.

Finally that these are manufactured in China (hate to give Chinese communists any business, as long as there is a same or better quality USA made alternative, which there often isn’t).

CAN I GROW VEGTABLES IN THEM?

  11. John hornyak

Why not available to ship to store or home

  12. Nell

You have to have a business membership to buy these

  13. Jon

No you don’t. Costco sells the same products to everyone.
