      Hope you love it, Denise!

I bought frozen avocados a few months ago. They were disgusting. Maybe in a smoothie but the texture was just not good otherwise. I pitched a two pound bag.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh bummer! Sorry to hear you didn’t care for these. Thanks for the honest comment!

  3. Candace

Trader Joe’s used to carry frozen avocados. They were awful!

  4. Polly

These were very gross to me, I definitely wouldn’t buy them again.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! Thanks for your feedback, Polly! We sure appreciate it!

I bought these the last time they had them and did not like them. Fresh is so much better when it comes to avocados.

My favorite is buying avocados and freezing them myself. I’m a huge food texture person- most foods bother me lol, (im a weirdo i know) and they were good when I did the freezing myself. I use my mini ninja chopper to make it in a consistency as guac. Doesnt brown and is still green after a month! I do make sure all the air is out of the bag before I seal.

    • Lolas93

Same here. Made as guac and froze. When Defrosted no one could tell.

My son said the frozen ones from Costco were nasty. Save your money and buy them fresh.

For the love of God, kids, wife, husband, pet or whatever you hold sacred and dear do not get this abomination. They may be on special but you should pay for them not to offer these frozen avocados ever again. I would think twice about adding them to my compost heap.

    • LisaK

😂 Thank you! And also others for their honest comments. I guess I don’t need to get these!! I have frozen my own avocados which works out well for guacamole or adding to smoothies and I would have purchased these to try.

I tried to freeze avocado before for smoothies but it didn’t turn out as creamy as fresh avocado. Good thing that Aldi sale fresh avocado cheap most of the time!

Aldis is awesome but drives me nuts in this way. They literally will sell certain items for a few weeks and then poof they’re gone and never to return for another year. Their red, white, blue popsicles are a good example. They sell them in June n thats it. I don’t understand why. They’re an awesome non artificial treat! N avacados are readily available, so why not sell this item all the time? Seems like a great idea! We’re not big on avacados but with a frozen option would prob use them way more.

    • nita

Ok so consensus is frozen avacados are no good..but I still want those frozen popsicles! They’re my fave! 😋
